39' Allied Mistress Ketch
1972 Fort Myers Beach Florida 39 Allied Mistress Ketch
Outstanding example of this fine vessel. She's been all over the Carib and maintained and upgraded over the years. 3 owner vessel. Fully enclosed cockpit - you can be comfy in cockpit in the pouring rain. Full aft berth with head, moving forward on port is a 'workshop' - ease of access to engine is incredible. On starboard side is a full set of shelving and wet locker. In galley is a huge table that sits 6. Oven and range work wonderfully - heats FAST. Moving to forward is a roomy Vee berth, chest of draws and another head. The storage was sufficient for us to cruise 6 months with ease. Sails: Mizzen is brand new 2014, main is in great shape as is jenny. Lots of ground tackle, windlass, new electronics. Epirb. TONS of storage space. This vessel was designed to cross oceans, no question - check out Practical Sailor's reviews. She's a tank and sails well off the wind and for a cruiser points pretty well. Center cockpit is very roomy with great visibility even for a 5' person! ''FAIR MARKET VALUE'' of the subject vessel is: $55,000.00 Fifty Five Thousand Dollars and Zero cents 2. The ''ESTIMATED REPLACEMENT COST'' indicates the retail cost of a new vessel of the same make/model with similar equipment offered by the same manufacturer. ''ESTIMATED REPLACEMENT COST'' of the subject vessel is: $412,500.00

40' Beneteau 40
2008 Seabrook Texas 40 Beneteau 40
The Beneteau 40 was one of the most popular models Beneteau was selling during this model style. What makes this one stand out is that it is a one owner boat that has been extremely well cared for by its owners. It also is equipped with all the factory options including a BOW THRUSTER! This factory option makes life for the cruising couple or those of you who want to single hand so much more enjoyable with less chance of damage when coming in and out of your slip. Also less chance of anyone's pride getting hurt... seriously, this is an option that once you have had one you will not want to go back. Add to that the In Mast Furling with an electric coach-roof winch for pulling that mainsail in and out, Roller furling head-sail that can also be controlled with the electric winch, all lines led aft and all self tailing winches, electric anchor windlass and twin helms make this a beautiful cruising yacht with push button sailing as a bonus! This Beneteau 40 also has the upgraded option of the 54 HP Yanmar diesel to give you that extra power when you need it... "La Dame Argentee" is a fine example of the Beneteau 40 and really does have all the right stuff. 14' Com-pac Picnic Cat
2008 Santa Rosa Beach FL Florida 14 Com-pac Picnic Cat
• The Picnic Cat is from the drawing board of Clark Mills, designer of our former 16 CB and our 23/3, and well known also as the designer of the Optimist Pram and the Windmill One Design. • Unlike her sister Com-Pacs the Picnic Cat has a centerboard rather than a keel. • With her centerboard up she is beachable. • Her broad hull form and the low center-of-effort of her gaff-rigged sail make her very stable. • And her huge self-bailing cockpit and ample stowage offer unsurpassed comfort for the whole family in a small, easily single handed package. • Kick up rudder with laminated mahogany and ash tiller, mooring cleats, fixed outboard bracket, solid teak stern seat • Galvanized custom bunk trailer also in excellent condition, tires like new • She's built of solid, hand-laid glass, with aluminum spars and stainless centerboard. • In addition, the exclusive Mastendr mast raising system revolutionizes the trailer-boating experience. • The Mastendr quick-rig sailing system that allows for the boom, sail, and gaff to be left installed on the boat while the mast is folded or raised. • The shrouds stay attached and the head stay disconnects with the flip of the pre-adjusted forestay self-locking lever. • This system, unique to Com-Pac, adds an ease and convenience to trailer sailing that is really astounding. Your mast is up and you are ready to go in seconds, not minutes.

30' Catalina 30 Tall Rig
1986 Apollo Beach Florida 30 Catalina 30 Tall Rig
Catalina 30 tall rig sailboat for sale in Tampa, Florida (Apollo Beach, Tampa Sailing Squadron). The traditionally styled Catalina 30 remains extremely popular with cruisers, due to its wide and deep hull creating exceptional volume above and below decks and for its stability under sail. Paradox offers more space than a typical 34 foot boat. There as seven full adult berths, 6’ 4” headroom and large storage areas under the settees, v-berth, q-berth and in the three cockpit lockers. There is a large anchor locker in the forepeak. Paradox spent most of her life in freshwater preserving her youth. She was originally splashed in Kentucky Lake. She is well ventilated and bright inside because of huge companionway hatch and large forward hatch. The Catalina 30 deckhouse, windows and sheer line still define the Catalina family of boats. A new, never used before, Universal model 25 xp, freshwater cooled engine with only 6 break-in hours on the clock offers years of trouble-free service. This engine replaces the original Universal model 18. She has a 3-bladed bronze prop. Like-new sails and new single-line roller furling gear offer ease of sail handling.

23' Sovereign 7
1980 Key Biscayne Florida 23 Sovereign 7
Sovereign 7, 23 ft. Sloop from 1980 " With trailer ". She sails very well and with a shoal draft keel she draws 2 1/2 feet letting her sail just about anywhere. Check out the stats - sailboatdata.com/viewrecord.asp?class_id=6476 NEEDS -work on roller furler -work on teak at hatch -a new electric system -repair on water tank -new faucet -new head ( presently has bucket and chem bags ) As you see 2 a half years ago this how she looked on top after I redid the nonskid, with a fine grit and a light grey. Down below as you see, there was dry rot in the wood under the cabin sole, so cleaned it all out, painted with bilge paint and made a new frame under the sole and marine grade 1/2 inch plywood. The pluming needs to be redone, both in the head and the galley area. The electric system must be redone, both in the mast and running lights,( which work but need better connections on the wiring). Best you see her yourself and I can point out everything I've done over the past 5 years and needs to be done over time.

Conceived, designed and built as a liveaboard, blue water cruising catamaran, Papillon has proven herself by completing a ten year 48,000 nm circumnavigation. Following an extensive refurbishment, this exceptionally well-maintained yacht is offered for sale to an adventurous new master. Motivated seller has reduced asking price to USD $795,000, negotiable. Papillon was custom designed by Crowther Multihulls, Pty. in Australia and constructed at Advanced Multihulls in Florida. The vessel was conceived from the beginning as a safe, comfortable, easy-to-sail, liveaboard vessel, built to high standards, enabling travel anywhere in the world. She is a true owner’s blue water cruising yacht with comfortable accommodations for children and guests. High quality materials including Core-Cell structural foam, various E-glass reinforcements, Hydrex-100 vinylester resin and West Systems epoxy were used throughout. Structural components and furniture were vacuum bagged to optimize resin loading and adhesion. GRP structural members throughout the vessel add strength and stiffness, reassuring when the seas kick up. Papillon sports a strong and powerful rig and sail plan. The B&R rig is supported with Dyform wires. The mast is pre-bent and slightly raked. Support is derived from upper and lower shrouds and the forestay. Due to the B&R rig design, a backstay is not required. Wire terminations are Norseman-Gibb. A full suite of cruising sails in good to new condition is included. Papillon is equipped with virtually everything needed for world cruising. 31' Allmand Allmand 31
1979 Buffalo New York 31 Allmand Allmand 31
Beautiful, well-maintained, and enhanced wherever possible, this Allmand sloop, that can be rigged as a cutter, is a steal. Originally Tim Allmand’s personal boat, it is particularly well-apportioned and has aesthetic touches not seen in any but the most expensive yachts. The interior has the roominess of a 40’ yacht. It is virtually all solid teak, including 3 6-panel doors, beautiful solid teak parquet floor throughout, teak side paneling, shelves, bulkheads and cabinets (see pictures). Throughout the boat there are 7 opening screened ports, and on each side a large Plexiglas window. The very roomy main cabin has a large U-shaped dining area that, with the settee, can seat up to 8 and sleeps 3. The kitchenette has a four burner stove, oven, working refrigerator which can make ice, and loads of space for storing and preparing food. The roomy quarter-berth and V-berths, both with 6” thick memory foam double beds, afford total privacy from the large main cabin. Each sleeping area has a screened hatch, at least one opening screened port and 1 hanging locker. The very roomy cockpit has a dodger and attachable Bimini, usable under sail, and heavy vinyl and mosquito netting side curtains that totally enclose the cockpit, making it a separate living space while at anchor. The exterior has been maintained with yearly waxing, shrink-wrapped winter storage, all woodwork varnished, bottom painting, and non-skid repainted. Sail with your choice of 2 main sails, 2 jibs (150 and 120%) and a full spinnaker, and handle your sails with 2 self-tailing Barlow #25 winches, 4 Barlow #16 winches, 1 Barlow #16 on the mast for the main halyard, Harken Mark III roller furling genoa, and a Harken self-tending mainsheet traveler. Cockpit instruments include: depth sounder, knot meter/log, Autohelm 3000, new VHF radio and new GPS. We have safely (albeit unintentionally) sailed in heavy weather with up to 50 kt. gusts. It is an extremely comfortable, dry, seaworthy craft that sails well because of the tall mast ( 2’) and rigging.

Sweetbay is a wonderful boat that has been very well cared for. She sails very well and enjoys the many benefits of a centerboard boat in the bay; 4’3” draft with board up and 7’9” with the board down. The centerboard is easy to manage and truly helps her point upwind. Tartan quality construction is evident throughout. There is a very active Tartan owner’s support group and because Tartan still manufactures boats, they are available by phone regarding builder’s details and parts information. She is a strong and safe boat. We are “moving up” and will truly miss this boat after 10 years of ownership and care. Sweetbay has seen all of the bay and Bermuda once.

A Leeboard Cat Ketch , Whisper was built in 1994 as a mono hull by Marine Concepts of Tarpon Springs, FL. Purchased by me in 1996. She was converted by Jim Leet at Marine Concepts to a Tri-Sport in 2009. She has taken me on many magical adventures from the North Channel of Lake Huron, to the Marquesas Islands off of Key West. Easy to trailer, launch and retrieve. The perfect, well thought out camp cruiser. Sleeps one in comfort, or two smaller friendly people. Based on a Herreschoff design (Carpenter Dory), lengthened to 21 feet when designed in 1981 - over 500 have been built including the mono-hull versions. She has never capsized. Owned and expertly maintained by a life long sailor. Good sea keeping ability as well as the ability to shelter in water less than a foot deep. When the tide goes out she sits upright with her leeboards raised. Easy to single hand, as all lines lead to the aft cockpit. The forward cockpit can be used for daysailing 4 or 5 people, and it turns into an easy to set up cabin with the flip up convertible cabin for those overnights on the anchor. Asking $12,500 or BRO

We are just getting Smitten ready to sell, and she should be available to show about February 20th, and we will post more photos as well. Compare to other Catalina 42s and you will see she is an incredible value at $77,700 (we anticipate she will sell quickly) She is located at Sun Harbor Marina in the America’s Cup Harbor (about 7 minutes drive from San Diego Airport). We have sailed her up in San Francisco Bay for much of her life (including 48 mph winds in “The Golden Gate Slot” one day), trips to the Sacramento Delta, Monterrey Bay, then down the coast harbor hopping and Channel Island hopping until we landed here in San Diego. Smitten has been a wonderful way to enjoy the sailing life for a reasonable cost. We hope that you will love her as much as we have.

More details at: www.monamiforsale.com The Mon Ami has been extremely well cared for by both myself and her previous owner. Substantial time and money have been invested to upgrade all her major systems, including a new 35 HP diesel engine, brand new sails, new instruments, new autopilot, Wallas heater/stove, extra water tankage, power windlass, stainless anchor roller, new AGM batteries, new running rigging and rigging upgrades, and many other top-of-the-line upgrades. Other than stocking up on fresh food and ice, she's completely ready to go. She's an easy boat to operate single-handed, but the cabin and cockpit are spacious enough to carry a large family and lots of guests without feeling crowded. Her fin keel makes it easy to maneuver in tight marinas, even in reverse, and her 11,000 pounds of displacement give her a very solid feel in heavy weather. Even without the autopilot engaged, she holds a course very well and could be steered easily with sail trim alone. This is really a fantastic boat, and I hate to part with her, but another opportunity appeared that I couldn't pass up so I have to let her go. Niagara sloop hull # 147 with roller furling 140% Genoa by NORTH & 100% jib by JOHNSON. This boat also has a quick release inter stay for the self tending club foot jib by JOHNSON with a reef point. So you could say it has a cutter rig. The main sail by NORTH has three reef points with the jiffy system. The NORTH .75 oz cruising chute with sleeve and jib pole complete the sail inventory. All sails have bags or covers and are in good condition. Two speed self tend winches, wheel steering, auto helm and radar/solar panel arc with fixed Bimini makes for enjoyable sailing. The boat has no damage by storm or otherwise which is evident by the original gel coat finish. Two 20 lbs propane tanks a season. The Westerbeke 27 hp diesel with 30gal. tank, V drive transmission and a two blade propeller will hit hull speed at 19k rpm with more rpm in reserve for wind and wave conditions. Brand new VDrive transmission (2014) Standing rigging: Rod rigging in Excellent condition. Boat has 50' bridge clearance.  This really is a good couples boat with room for guests. It is the classic version with the sail locker and work bench instead of a V-berth. Boat is fully equipped for offshore passages (including all the safety equip.). I had a plan to take her across the Atlantic this year but my new work changed my plans. In last 6 months I've sailed Florida, Bahamas, Cuba, Cayman Islands and Jamaica. 30' O'Day 30
1982 Merritt Island Florida 30 O'Day 30
This vessel is a solid, well-kept 30 foot sloop with diesel engine. The boat is in above-average to excellent condition; it is in the water and ready to sail. I am the 3rd owner (purchased November 2012). The photos (taken Feb. 2015) tell the story best. Perhaps the best general description of the boat (aside from pics) can be found in my rationale for choosing to buy this particular boat in the first place. I bought the vessel in late 2012 after searching for a sailboat that met three distinct and strict criteria: • Comfort and stability: I wanted a sailboat that I could, technically, live on if desired or required. With an almost 11 foot beam, full headroom and full saloon, this boat was the “largest” 30 footer I could find. (I quickly learned that, above 30 feet, the cost to foot ratio grows considerably). I wanted a steady-footed boat with ample room on deck for traversing mid-ship and bow. I also desired a high toe rail. In sailing terms, I wanted comfort over speed, all day, all night. This boat has exceeded my expectations here. • Inboard 2 cyl. diesel auxiliary: Multiple benefits, including safety, reliability, longevity and fuel use. The motor has never (ever) failed to start on first key since I have owned the vessel. • Sailing characteristics: Not as important to me as comfort and diesel auxiliary, but I wanted a full suit of sails in addition to main. This boat has that, and although it's not a racer, it sails very well. Over the past two years, I have spent considerable time and $ improving the boat. I have made numerous upgrades (see below) and I have most receipts. The boat comes with an Avon 3-person dinghy; Cruisair "drop in" hatch mount air conditioner; autopilot; radios; GPS; multiple spare parts; lines; tools; Keurig; TV with DVD player; wireless stereo speakers and phone/i-pod dock; microwave; new alcohol stove (used twice), and the list goes on. Please see below and email for more. This is an ideal "family boat" for sailors desiring comfort above and below decks with plenty of storage room.

46' Whitby 42
1980 Deltaville Virginia 46 Whitby 42
Whitby built about 250 Whitby 42 ketches and 2 single masted cutters, one of which is Malabar. When we contracted for Malabar, we insisted on a single-masted vessel because we wanted superior sailing qualities. We stepped up to an aluminum 53-footer in 1983 and sold Malabar. Some years later, we had sold our 53-footer and were looking for a boat more easily managed by a couple. We of course looked at Whitbys and Malabar had turned up on the market at that time. Because of the superior sailing qualities of the single-masted cutter, and because of the attractiveness of her interior (full teak interior and cabin soles, rounded doors, etc), Malabar was the best of the Whitby 42s and we were able to reacquire her. We had specific requirements for the ideal 40 to 45 foot cruising boat: sailing performance, safety, comfort, etc. Malabar was the ideal boat to serve as a platform upon which to add the improvements we required . The Whitby 42's on the market today are remarkably similar when compared to Malabar. They are all ketches. When not on a broad reach, they're invariably undercanvassed because the main and mizzen cannot be flown concurrently, as they backwind each other on every other point of sail. Even on a broad reach, the fierce weather helm induced by the oversized mizzen remains a nagging problem: constant helm correction when manual steering, or frequent and power draining course adjustments by the autopilot. To weather, the mizzen is invariably furled. As a result, a 30,000 lbs boat is being driven to weather with its genoa slotting a puny 322 sq.ft main. Malabar will decisively outsail any Whitby ketch because her 448 sq. ft. fully-battened North mainsail provides more power and drive than the ketches' 322 sq. ft. main. Malabar's more powerful mainsail (same mast height) is actually much easier to trim and control because of its 7-foot traveler (Whitbys have no traveller--only a single padeye). Malabar's engine has been completely rebuilt and has zero hours.

All the upgrades are done – new diesel, new sails, propane stove, sail covers with sturdy 1” solid tube Bimini with recent canvas, head is plumbed to current Coast Guard standards. No leaks! She also is equipped with a 1500w True-Sine wave invertor, hard wired to the two golf cart batteries, to power a microwave, off the house batteries. Also equipped with a Dripless Prop seal. As far as sailing speed and fun: Typically she will do half the apparent wind speed upwind, close hauled to 30% off the wind, all the way to hull speed of 6.5 knots…Downwind we have had her surfing to 9.5 knots downwind, with the stereo going and drinks in the cooler all-ready!

40' Hinckley Bermuda 40
1968 Ft Lauderdale Florida 40 Hinckley Bermuda 40
Perhaps the finest example of a Bermuda 40 anywhere, Pathfinder is a custom B-40 yawl that has been meticulously maintained and updated by Hinckley in Southwest Harbor, Maine. Pathfinder is very rare and one of only seven B-40s with both cabins aft and a forward owner’s cabin. This layout, coupled with a u-shaped dinette, modern galley, and navigation station, offers tremendous advantages in family sailing and offshore passage making. She has been lovingly maintained and thoughtfully upgraded throughout her life, and no expense has been spared. She is safe and comfortable, a pleasure to sail, and always the prettiest boat at every anchorage. Pathfinder sleeps five in two cabins and the salon. Starting forward is a traditional v-berth along with a bank of storage drawers and two hanging lockers. Amidship to starboard is the galley, with Corian cutting surface, deep single bowl stainless sink, a Force 10 gimbaled two-burner propane stove with oven, stainless steel-lined refrigerated reefer/ice box with freezer bin, microwave, and plenty of storage. Opposite to port is the u-shaped dinette with newly recovered cushions. This main salon area has an opening port and overhead hatch, and new and ample lighting for cozy evenings at anchor. Throughout, the original teak wood is in lovely condition. There are screens for all overheads and ports, reverse cycle heat and air conditioning, and ultrasuede-covered cushions in each of the two sleeping berths in the aft cabin. The head has both hot & cold pressure water and shower, a Skipper marine toilet, and custom lockers and drawers. The electrical system has advanced digital monitoring, an inverter/charger, shore power, and high capacity alternator with isolated battery banks to provide dependable 12v/110v power while sailing, at the dock or at anchor. She has safe wide decks and a large comfortable cockpit. And with the bronze centerboard up she only draws 4'6" - perfect for the Chesapeake Bay, Bahamas, and the Florida Keys. Down she draws 8'7" allowing her to point well into the wind.

Dress Blue, (former Infinity) one of only three Alden Yachts 43’s in existence is an exceptional example of American craftsmanship. This assertion was validated by noted marine author Ferenc Máté when he included her on pages 18-20 of The World’s Greatest Sailboats Volume II. Since launch, she has been lovingly cared for and continuously updated by two successive experienced yachtsmen- owners. This powerful blue water yacht has been yard maintained to the highest standard and is ready to carry her master to any port in the world in comfort and safety. She is stunningly beautiful and turns heads in every harbor. Her ash interior trimmed in cherry and accented with colorful upholstery and Corian countertops surrounds owner and guests with light and luxury. Her “Bristol” condition and extensive inventory reflects her owner’s refusal to compromise on quality and safety. Dress Blue is located in Portland, ME USA and is ready for your inspection. 43.5' Hunter 410
2000 Sarasota Florida 43.5 Hunter 410
2000 Hunter 410, I have no time to enjoy my beautiful sailboat, so it is with great reluctance that I am putting her up for sale. The Hunter 410 is one of the nicest boats you will ever have: she has a shoal keel (4'10"), yet points very well; she is seakindly, fast, has a huge, round cockpit which easily seats 8. Inside, you will be struck by the big owner's cabin (aft), whose berth has a big (64"x92") inner spring mattress, ample storage and lots of ventilation. The galley is on the starboard side. It features a 3-burner stove/oven, freezer, fridge, double sink, and Corian countertops. Across from the galley is a roomy nav. station, and the instrument panel. The main head, which can be accessed from the owner's cabin as well, is also on the port side. It has a full-size porcelain, vacu-flush toilet, and a big shower stall. The salon, which can accommodate 8 guests, has a big "U" shaped settee, and a separate bench. The forward stateroom has ample storage as well, and a berth with a 54"x78" inner-spring mattress. The second head is all the way forward. It, too, has a full-size porcelain toilet bowl (not a vacu-flush). The boat is powered by a 50HP Yanmar diesel, she has two a/c units, generator, inverter, complete electronics package, good ground tackle, and a Max Prop, making maneuvering a breeze. The sails are in good shape, and include a cruising spinnaker (with a sock), and a storm jib (there is a removable inner forestay). Please, contact the seller for more information.

40' CMT Ile Disko

Exceptionally strong and sea kindly sail boat in excellent condition, built for the first BOC race with over sized rigging and large sail inventory, lightly used. The boat was put ashore in 1990 and remained mostly under cover since then. The hull was re-blasted and painted with 2-part epoxy system, and interior rebuild started, new engine acquired also. The interior hull has a sprayed on insulation and so has never sweated and keeps very dry. Lots of room below decks with the interior divided up with 3 separate berths, saloon, large lazarette and forepeak area for sail storage and work bench area under the foredeck hatch. It is presently a work in progress with the cabin furnishing incomplete and the wiring and plumbing still to do, however the boat is in exceptional condition with very strong spars and rigging and the sails are all in very good shape (9 in total including storm sails and spinnaker). Also included is a custom 3-axle trailer. 8 Lewmar winches and SL windlass plus various lines, sheets and all hardware necessary for sail handling are included.

43' CN de Soubise Island Beneath the Wind
1994 Florida Keys Florida 43 CN de Soubise Island Beneath the Wind
The boat was drawn in the early 80's by the Etarn design team in France. Most of the boats were built at the Soubise Yard in France (they still make catamarans and other custom designs today). The original owner decided to use the French CNB yard that is famous for its Lagoon Catamarans. Being built a decade later, allowed for some new innovation in building that made her lighter and stiffer than her predecessors. Fiu is also the, only one I have seen, that is aft cockpit, sloop/solent rig and setup as a family boat for 2 or more. Her lines always bring onlookers commenting on her pedigree. The reaction we get, when someone comes to view Fiu, is that this boat must be seen. Many boats advertise well and have great pictures. But, we are always told, that she is better in person. Being a custom boat, it is difficult to understand layout, woodwork condition, and overall quality of build. Setup an appointment to view Fiu today. You will not be disappointed. WELL BUILT, LIGHT AND STIFF: Displacement 20,000 lbs. Ballast 9500 lbs. Mast Height 54' These numbers tell a lot. When you look at nearly a 50/50 displacement to ballast ratio, you know the boat is built with the weight in the right area. The deck is FOAM cored. Toe rail down is solid fiberglass with an additional longitudinal stringer midway down between the bulkheads. The boat has a modified full keel, with keel/transom hung rudder all the way aft for optional tiller steering. The swing keel increases draft from 4'9" to 7'9". FAST, STABLE AND QUIET: The short mast, boom and small head sail are evidence enough of her easily driven hull. The rig has all of the performance tweaks to make racers happy. There is a spinnaker and whisker pole, but I have not used either. All of the hardware is present to use them. We are always sailing in the 7 knot range and peaking in the 8's. I am sure with a racer mentality and new sails, she would be at the front of any PHRF fleet. For us, the small sail plan and easy speed, make it a pleasure to sail and a boat we have never felt insecure with.

Parents purchased boat in 1984. Crusied all over east coast and Carribean. Lived aboard for 9 years. Central heat and air, fore and aft units. Esbar diesel fired heater as well. New Interstate SRM4D batteries installed 10/14. 62hp Perkins has always and still runs like a new one. Father was a true sailor. Has spare everything on boat. All wood topside needs TLC. Companionway doors to galley need replaced. Interior is good with some TLC. Father was trim carpenter and did a ton of upgrades to her interior. ALL cabinet and locker doors upgraded with vented cane fronts. Salon redesigned with removable table leaves and c-shaped seating. Secure liquor cabinet built into table center. GULFSTAR SAILBOAT FOR SALE BY OWNER - Great cruising, and spacious liveaboard sailing yacht. Sabbatical is a 1977 Gulfstar 50 center cockpit Mark II Ketch. We have been the sole owner and cruising part of the year aboard her for over 20 years, while constantly upgrading her. She is the 3 cabin model with a classic teak interior. Recent upgrades include new standing rigging, the addition of 400 watts of solar panels, new genoa, addition of Adler Barbour 12 volt refrigeration and the addition of a new bowsprit/anchor pulpit. The auxilliary diesel engine is a reliable 85 HP Perkins 4-236. We have recently sailed her offshore from Venezuela and the ABC islands back to the US and she is fully equipped for offshore sailing and long term cruising and liveaboard. After our many years of cruising, we have reached that point in our lives where we no longer have the time to use this boat as we have in the past and it's time for Sabbatical to have a new loving owner. We are now at the boat in Ft. Lauderdale for February and March doing projects and upgrades and Sabbatical is now available for showing during this time. This vessel had been listed at $99,500, however we have greatly reduced the price and will consider letting her go to the first best offer over $70,000 for an immediate sale AS IS WHERE IS during the time we are here. This is a great opportunity for a new owner who wants to purchase a great classic cruising and comfortable liveaboard vessel at a very attractive price. 30' Hunter 290
2001 Port Clinton Ohio 30 Hunter 290
This is the perfect boat for the beginner or the seasoned sailor. This boat has it all, from auto pilot to central aircondioning. The refrigeration is water cooled with the new type thru hull and there is no pump. We made this boat out to be our last and now we would like to have a bigger boat. Wind Dancer sails wonderfully, with the lazy jacks and the sail boot that cradles the sail. You do not remove the sail boot while sailing. When it is time to come in just drop the sail into the boot and when back at dock all you have to do is to zip it shut. It has some features not found on many boats like an electric head, works great. The rear cabin is unbelievable in this size of boat. We have had this boat in rough water and you never feel uncomfortable. It even backs up like a dream. It has it's own cradle and is stored at Catawba island with it's mast down. Nicely covered for our wonderful winter weather. It has no leaks and is nice and fresh. The 290 is exactly the same hull as the 306, but less money. The wood is teak oiled instead of varnished like the 306. Why pay 10k for some varnish. You will not be disappointed in this boat. Take a look at the pics, I would also take a trailer able sailboat in trade.

Epoxy bottom. Useable project good for bay and delta. Stored on the hard in DIY friendly location for $153 per month. 47' Moody 47 Center Cockpit
Exceptional boat in exceptional condition. She was made in England in 1985 and shipped to Lake Huron. She was then Dry Docked ( Inside ) for apx 10 years as her then owner was posted abroad. Thereafter she was in fresh water for the next 10, and dry docked and winterised ( inside ) each winter. She is a wonderful boat. Apx 500 hours on the Land Rover Diesel, she has new radar, GPS etc. Serviced and well looked after she has a whole host of spares including sails etc. ( The first owner was a prudent engineer and insisted on buying double or triplicate of engine parts etc- most of which have not been used. ) She has a Dinghy Davitt, Bimini etc. Good Teak decks in great condition. This is a boat for the serious sailor. A Racer/Cruiser on a par with a Swan or Oyster and recognised by Lloyds of London - very very rare these days.  Details »

33' canadian sailcraft CS33
1984 CS 33 $19,900 Lying in the port of Kenosha is a very well kept lightly used boat that’s priced to sell. I’m moving to the interior of the country and have to part company after owning it for over 17 years. I’m the 2nd owner. The original owner actually went to the factory to make sure it was being built correctly, hahaha. Quite a fuss pot and anally retentive when it came to upkeep on the boat. I’ve followed in the tradition. The boat is extremely clean inside and out (no mold) with no defects in the hull or rigging. The engine and entire drive train out to the Gori folding prop are in perfect condition. Sails are fair except for the cruising spinnaker which has been hardly used and is in great shape. A note on buying and selling safely:
Anytime you buy or sell on the Internet, due to the geographic reach of the ads, be careful of fraud.

It has recently come to our attention that at least one seller has received a scam e-mail offer in which the buyer offered to overpay for the boat and then requests a check for the difference in return - what has come to be known as a classic "Nigeria" scam.

Requests to overpay for the boat and have excess money returned or given to a shipping company are most likely fraudulent -- never do this without consulting with your bank first.

Please always use caution and your best judgment if presented with a deal which doesn't seem logical, and be sure to talk with your bank to be sure all checks and transactions have been completed, cleared, and verified before releasing any property. Be especially careful of any transactions from overseas where such transactions might be reversed after some time due to fraud.

  • Never give your password to anyone. SailboatListings.com will never ask for your password. Any such request is an attempt at phishing.
  • Be careful of buyers or sellers using free email addresses (hotmail, yahoo, etc.)
  • Contact the buyer or seller by (non-cell) phone as well as online to help confirm their identity.
  • If a boat is not where it says it is, this is a strong indication of fraud.
  • After discussing the details, have the boat surveyed and arrange to see the boat before any money changes hands.
