34' Glander Tavana
1977 will deliver from Montego Bay Jamaica Outside United States 34 Glander Tavana

Mr Glander built these shoal draft centerboard boats in Marathon Key Florida to standards that dont exist anymore. This one is set up thoughtfully for liveaboard cruising and fishing and diving. They sail very well and only draw three feet with the board up, allowing anchorage in shallow lagoons nearshore and crossing of sandbars and cuts that would wreck other boats. If you will be sailing the caribbean this is a good hand to play. Loaded with extras and ready to sail anywhere, she just crossed the windward passage. The Tavana features a self draining cockpit; a must have for any serious cruising boat. If you fly to MBYC to see her you can rent her before you buy to sea trial. Motivated seller.

33' 7' Ontario Yachts Viking 33
1973 Westport Massachusetts 33' 7 Ontario Yachts Viking 33

I've been updating my Viking 33 over the last 3-4 years. She is a fast, stiff and fun boat. She moves along nicely in light air and loves a nice breeze in the 20s! She points like nobody's business. She is great weekender or club racer. You'll give anyone a run for their money! I found this description of the boat on line. "...the Viking 33 still has to rate as one of the better looking boats on the water. It has sleek lines and a graceful bow. It may be just a touch narrower than the boats that were built in the 1980s, but it still has the appearance of a contemporary yacht. Like the Ontario 32, the Viking was also designed by C&C and built by Ontario Yachts. Unlike the Ontario 32, this boat was designed with racing in mind. It has a very deep keel and a ballast to displacement ratio of over 50%. This boat was built in the 1970's, so most will come equipped with an Atomic 4 gasoline inboard engine..." by Michael McGoldrick. She is a little too small for the type of cruising we want to do and we don't race. So, we want to upgrade to a larger more cruise ready boat. I get lots of compliments on her. This really is a beautiful looking boat. Totally interested in trades if you are thinking of downsizing from your cruising boat. I have nearly twice the asking price invested here. Our plan was to keep this boat a long, long time but sadly, she just isn't the right boat for what we want to do. We want to spend more time aboard and we just need a bigger head and a stand up shower and maybe a walk through transom. Anyway, the next owner is going to get a great, fast, beautiful sailing boat!

Fragil Heart was on the market last year. The owner decided to take her off the market and use her for the season, and get her in tip-top shape. All systems were professionally evaluated and serviced. Mainsail was replaced, batteries replaced, engine gone over by a Yanmar mechanic, windlass rebuilt, and anything that needed attention got attention. Frajil Heart is a solid boat, mechanically sound, and well equipped. She has air-conditioning, color chart-plotter, autopilot, bimini, refrigeration. With a 29HP engine this 11,000 pound boat is maneuverable and powerful. Two sets of genoa winches so you can trim at the helm or at the companionway. A wonderful family boat.

46' Bruce Roberts Spray
1995 Sausalito California 46 Bruce Roberts Spray

The boat was built by me and is a replica of Joshua Slocum’s Boston Spray. It’s 46’ l.o.a. I was a structural draftsman for 40 years and worked for an architectural and engineering firm for 34 years. The hull is fiberglass, 7 layers of woven roving over 7 layers of 1-1/2 oz. mat separately on C-flex planking which was used as the mold. The plans called for 6 layers of each, but I added 1 more. The keel and bottom are over 1” thick. The deck and cabin are 1/2” plywood with two layers of 1-1/2 oz. fiberglass mat over. Each interior bulkhead is constructed with two layers of 1/2” strand board glued and screwed together and 1/8” oak veneer glued on each side. There is 12 volt DC and 110 volt AC electricity inside, along with fresh water dockside and 12 volt pressure activated pump away from the dock. The boat was painted again in July 2010 (the bottom with bottom paint and the sides with Awlgrip). The boat is very spacious inside and has plenty of storage. It would be comfortable as a live aboard for 1 or 2 people. It took me 19 years to build and we’ve had her in the water for 20 years at various marinas in Northern California. The slip in Sausalito, CA comes with the boat if qualified per the yacht harbor. The reason I’m selling her is my age and health issues.

1984 Hunter 37’ Cherubini cutter sailboat; shallow draft The Cherubini Hunter holds its value as it was meticulously crafted before Hunters went into mass production Asking $17,500 Price reflects work to be completed by new owner Boat incurred some damage during Hurricane Sandy. Most work has been completed. 44 HP Yanmar, 2004, Very dependable, I motored from Verplanck, NY to Oriental, NC and the engine worked perfectly. Rebuilt transmission Additional Racor filter Sails; Main and jib older but usable. Staysail like new. Previous owner never used. Boom, track and cars for staysail 3 batteries, 2 new 6/2014; battery monitor Solid deck and hull, no soft spots, no blisters Deck resurfaced Bottom painted 6/2014 Nav 5 Display at Nav station and at steering pedestal; instruments at top of mast need replacing VHF old stereo system with speakers in cockpit Loran C (working?) Si-Tex radar, older but works perfectly Holding tank has had the recommended modifications (moved forward) Stainless steel double sink Gimbaled Propane stove with oven. Ice box and fridge Shore power Boat is currently on the hard at: Sailcraft Service, Lupton Dr., Oriental, NC., My original plan was to return in the spring to do the necessary work on the boat to prepare it for sailing in the Bahamas and Caribbean. Since I live in Oregon and work in Utah it has become clear to me that I would be better off having a boat in Oregon and/or Washington. That is the reason I have put the boat on the market at a rock bottom price. If the new buyer puts in $5,000 to $7,000 tops they will have a boat that compares very well with those in the $29,000 and up price range. Believe me when I say that the great Yanmar 44 HP engine on my boat is what separates my boat from the others that are currently for sale. The Colgate 26 is an affordable daysailer that can accommodate the whole family or up to to six adults comfortably. What makes her a great daysailer is a huge cockpit and high performance. The large "sugar scoop" transom provides a perch for a sailing instructor and a boarding platform for getting aboard from the water or the dock. A small cuddy cabin forward has self-tailing jib sheet winches on each side of the companionway and all sail controls are within easy reach without leaving the cockpit. 56' Bill Trip Classic Yawl
1963 Grenada Outside United States 56 Bill Trip Classic Yawl

OFFERS INVITED FOR A QUICK SALE. Apollonia is a very beautiful classic yawl with gracious lines guaranteed to turn heads wherever she is moored. She has recently competed in a number of Classic regattas with class wins in both Antigua and Grenada. Built by John De Dood in Germany in 1963 to a design by Bill Tripp the distinguished 1960’s American yacht designer who is remembered for drawing very pretty boats that sailed better than their ratings would suggest. Originally named Wappen Von Bremen she was built as one of three ‘one-design’ sister ships commissioned by sailing clubs in Hamburg and Bremen and completed in a number of Atlantic races. She is built of double planked mahogany over cedar on oak frames with manganese bronze fastenings, teak soles on oak floors, teak laid decks over laminated marine plywood, and has an exquisitely fitted mahogany interior. Her accommodation down below provides five berths in two forward cabins with a single head forward and a spacious saloon and galley. Regrettably her owner passed away two years ago since when she has been somewhat neglected, and Apollonia is now seriously for sale at a fraction of the cost of the restoration works already undertaken. She represents a wonderful opportunity for a new owner who is willing to invest a little time and effort to bring her back to her former glory and cruise the Caribbean islands and beyond in a timeless elegant yacht also eligible to enter the exclusive Classic Regatta circuit. Apollonia is currently lying in Grenada. Please contact me for further details of the specification, the restoration, and a schedule of her current condition. AMF/Paceship - PY26 - 1977 LOA: 26.4 BEAM 9.6 DRAFT 3.6 HEADROOM 6.1 SAILS: MAIN, 135% GENOA with Roller Furling & working jib I purchased this PY26 Sloop in 2008 from the family that bought it new and kept looking and feeling new as well. The name combined the wife/mother-son-daughter’s names Marabe. To be honest I didn’t have the heart to change the name and as the boat was hauled from their home all of the family stood and watched – it had been their loved summer place all during their “growing up” years and accommodated grandchildren too. I am retiring and sadly offering this wonderful sloop for sale. The boat is in wonderful condition. Has been stored on stands and wrapped – over last winter the cabin starboard windows (lights) where removed, cleaned and remounted/sealed (had this pin leak that I couldn’t stand). Replaced both Opening Port-Rain Drain in 2012. Cabin all cushions re-upholstered 2008. Many extras and updates, cabin has been lovingly maintain and looks like new. Sleeps five between V-birth and cabin benches. Dodger & Sun Shade Canopy – fair condition – needs stitching. The boat has been 90% rewired accommodate: circuit breaker panel, GPS, running/mast lighting, battery setup, electric head with high density tubing, radio and just to insure all systems were up to date. One season on halyards: main, genoa, spinnaker 3/8” XLS with shackles. Sails ~ 5 seasons, cleaned and repaired – Sailmakers & Riggers, Inc. each year. GPS-GARMIN BlueChart g2 & Vision (GPSMAP 540S) – installed 2010 – perfect with cabin-roof mount. Yamaha 8h.p. 2001 outboard with power tilt – service every year by MarineWorks, Inc. – fast start – great condition. Currently moored at: Boston Harbor Yacht Club, Columbia Road/Day Blvd, South Boston and Stored at Town River Marina, Quincy.

1979 Cataumet Massachusetts 26 C&C Encounter 26

Taking offers. Thinking of moving up to a bigger boat (29'-32' cruising sailboat for under $20k- S2, C&C, Beneteau Tartan, Hunter). This C&C is a fully functioning vessel currently being used by family on Buzzards Bay. I have owned the boat for 18 years but she sat idle for twelve years as we awaited a mooring. This is the third season since putting her afloat again. This boat was made in Middleton, RI. It is USCG documented. It is a comfortable, solid sailing small family boat with an attractive modern teak interior. It's condition is exceptionally good for the year and the price reflects this. But she is not without minor flaws. The working jib/blade/spinnaker sails have not been used during my ownership. We are more so fair weather sailors and she gets used modestly. More pictures/video available upon inquiry.

Hunter 240 in excellent condition and ready to sail TODAY! BOAT SHOW SPECIAL! The boat is currently 15 minutes south of Annapolis and will be in Annapolis for the Sailboat Show, Friday, Oct. 9 - Monday, Oct. 13. Call to come by and see her in the best sailing town on the East Coast. Don't pass up your chance to own a legendary Hunter sailboat! This Hunter 240 is a perfect family boat made for lakes and coastal waters. Great starter boat and weekend adventurer. The cabin is open and spacious with upholstered cushions; can easily sleep 4-6 people. Includes portable toilet, sink/faucet, 6-gal freshwater tank, and electric/auto bilge pump. The fiberglass gelcoat is in excellent condition. The entire boat has been polished, buffed, and waxed and is ready to go! Bottom painted in 2014. Bimini and sun/rain cover. Camper top option for companionway. Upgraded upholstery and curtains. Cockpit cushions. Stern rail seats. If you want the fun of sailing a larger boat, but don't want the added cost of dock fees and marina dues, then this Hunter 240 is what you're looking for! With a water-ballast system, she is very light and easy to trailer. When in the water, the ballast tank fills up and along with the swing keel, it is ready for 20 knot winds with no problem. And with the high freeboard, this boat is rated as CE Class "C" (up to 2 meter waves), but can easily handle more. For shallower waters, the keel swings up and you have 1'6" draft. You can actually beach this boat! The boat comes complete with the factory trailer (like new condition). Nothing needed; in water and ready to go! I am actively selling my boat again (since the original ad was posted) after enjoying it on the Bay the last two years. Call now at 484-206-5141 or email to hunter240forsale@gmail.com

30' Cape Dory 30
1979 Gloucester Massachusetts 30 Cape Dory 30

**Update: The boat has been launched and is currently moored in Gloucester, MA. Please contact us if you would like to see the boat. We are selling our 1979 Cape Dory 30 due to having recently purchased a larger cruising sailboat. This boat is in overall good condition and all of the regular maintenance has been done. Cape Dory built high quality boats with good design, good craftsmanship and high quality components. These boats have been sailed safely all over the globe and have a reputation for sailing well including when the weather turns nasty. Because many people have asked us about the ketch rig, we want to quickly state our thoughts. We were very happy with the decision to get a ketch and feel that it is the more desirable of the two configurations. In terms of sailing performance, we find that the ketch is very slightly slower upwind than the cutter version but slightly faster on all other points of sail. Sailed well, the boat does really nicely for its size and we regularly sail past much larger boats. One of the biggest benefits is that with the mainmast slightly further forwards when compared to the cutter version, an 8’ dinghy fits nicely on the cabin top (we store an 8’3” Walker Bay there and used to put a 9’ inflatable there). We almost always sail on and off the anchor and find that the ketch rig is incredibly handy for this with the extra sail control. In heavy weather, the boat stays nicely balanced without the mainsail up and can be easily hove to with just the mizzen. In most wind conditions, we can trim the sails so that the boat will balance nicely and require no helm input for an hour or more. Plus, we think that the ketch is the best looking Cape Dory in this size range but that is personal preference. Cape Dory has a wonderful owners association that includes information on the different models and a very active forum. The website can be found at www.capedory.org

Currently in slip in marina. Sailed 4 times a week. A seagoing cruiser designed with ultimate comfort in mind. Here's a boat that has proven itself an all-time favorite among sailors whose cruising plans may include weeks or months on the water It took the genius of Bill Garden to design so much comfort and convenience into a boat that performs so well; there's a forward stateroom with double berth and abundant storage, enclosed head with shower and a spacious salon with settees and a table that folds out to banquet proportions. Aft of the salon, there's a seagoing galley. Garden's modern hull and rig gives the 305 balanced, sea kindly and surprisingly fast behavior. Boat has custom shade cover and has been rigged so that it can be sailed solo from the helm. Original brochure for several models: http://www.msogphotosite.com/MSOG/pdfpage/buccaneerco.pdf

30' Island Packet 27
1987 Rock Hall Maryland 30 Island Packet 27

The name Island Packet is synonymous with quality and ruggedness. The 27 was introduced in 1985 and has been winning the hearts of adventurous sailors wanting a tough pocket cruiser for years. This little beauty had been damaged and had a 3" hole well above the waterline. She never took on water and has been repaired correctly. The interior panel in the area of the damage was completely removed, inspected and re-glassed. In addition, she got a shiny new paint job and looks beautiful. Her teak is being freshly done and her canvas is in nice condition. Her sails were sent out for cleaning and repair in 2014. She has new standing rigging and a new headsail furler. Forward is a huge V-berth with opening overhead hatch for air flow on the warmest nights. Next aft to port is a storage cabinet and to starboard is the head. The head has a marine toilet (brand new as of June 2014), hot and cold pressure water and a "telephone" type shower. There is a curtain that protects the teak door and trim. The main saloon is next aft with Island Packet's signature bulkhead mounted table with storage behind. There are facing settee's with storage under each and behind. the starboard settee opens to form a double. To starboard of the companionway is the quarter-berth and electrical panel. To port is the galley which has a two burner non-pressurized Origo alcohol stove, large icebox, sink with hot and cold pressure water and fold down counter. All in all, it is an efficient, cozy spot!

22' Cape Dory 22D
1983 Los Angeles California 22 Cape Dory 22D

I have reduced the price of the boat in order for the buyer to purchase a trailer. A trailer has been a recurring issue - even for the local west coast interests. Based upon what I have been finding on trailers (and trucking), I have reduced the boat price by $3,000. - $3,500 in order to accommodate a trailer or trucking. Across country trucking prices have ranged up to $4,000. and good used trailers are in the $3.500. range. The boat is in excellent condition and has been historically well taken care of through the present time. I am the third owner. It has not sat out in a field somewhere and subsequently been 'restored'. Original documents and following records have been kept and are current. The boat has a good original main sail with another 3- 4 years left in it, a jib, storm jib, and 150 genoa. New boom awning with curtains goes from mast to stern and covers cockpit. Handheld and mounted GPS, Depth Sounder, Compass, Radio, 2-Batteries (Bluetop and Interstate), Autopilot, Portable Toilet (new) and a few other things to go with it. The boat is 'dry' and has inboard 1 cylinder Yanmar 7hp diesel engine, 10 gallon fuel tank, 40 hour run time per tank. Boat is currently in the water in a generous 30' slip. Slip can be transferred with the purchase. Bottom is cleaned and inspected every two months by a local, commercial diver. Boat was hauled out in 2012 and 2 coats of new ablative bottom paint applied. Currently about 80% of paint left and effective. Bottom is sound. I have ordered a replacement for the deck and steaming light that is mid-mast. It is the same as the Spartan original. Based upon an inspection, I think the original has just suffered too much weather. Some of the varnish needs to be touched up. Yanmar engine, always serviced, new zincs, raw water impeller with stainless steel screen filter, repacked stuffing box, no leaks. Boat cabin and hull are dry inside. built in sink nd Jasco hand pump faucet, ice box and 10 gallon water tank below forward berth. Very clean and well maintained.

37' Maxim Catamaran
2000 St Marys Georgia 37 Maxim Catamaran

Having sailed extensively in the Indian Ocean, the current owners sailed around Cape Town and headed across the Atlantic in 2010. They spent the next two-and-a-half years cruising the Brasilian coastline, on up through the Caribbean and in to the Bahamas. “Ocean Spice” has been docked in St. Simon’s Island, Georgia since 2013 and is now on the hard awaiting new owners in St. Mary’s, Georgia. She is perfectly situated to head south! Built in South Africa, the Maxim catamaran is a well-known and respected bluewater sailing vessel. “Ocean Spice” offers a three-cabin two head layout. She has spacious accommodations for eight persons: two queen-sized cabins plus one double berth and two single berths. The en-suite Master Cabin is situated starboard. The other two cabins are situated port-side and share a large aft head. The U-shaped Galley is located on the main level adjacent to the Main Salon … this is a cook’s kitchen with ample storage and great work surfaces. The Galley/Salon layout offers a seamless entertainment area that is integrated with the spacious cockpit. “Ocean Spice” features a cruiser’s cockpit for serious sailing which functions equally well for both liveaboard and entertaining. The large foredeck is augmented by the Maxim’s unique bow pulpit seats, one of the greatest features of sailing on this catamaran. The owners have made sure that “Ocean Spice” is ready to go immediately and launch in to her next sailing/cruising adventure … on whichever ocean the new owner chooses to take her!

22' Cape Dory 22

We hate to see her go but we have plans of upgrading to a larger sailboat for extended family cruising. The beautiful classic lines of this Alberg designed sailboat turns heads anywhere she goes. This is a perfect first boat for new sailors to learn the ropes as she is easy to sail, easy to dock and very forgiving.  The hull design has a strong full keel that will keep you safe and stable in strong winds. She has no complex equipment and requires LOW maintenance. This little ship is great for sailing in Biscayne Bay, the Florida keys and even taking her to Bimini. Unlike other boats in this range, this is a true classic with lots of teak and bronze all around. Her condition is very good overall. The decks are solid with no soft-spots and the cockpit sole has been re-cored and glassed in 2013. We are motivated to sell her soon so we can move on to purchase our next boat. I don't have a trailer.

46' Whitby 42
1980 Deltaville Virginia 46 Whitby 42

Description: Whitby Boatworks built about 250 Whitby 42 ketches and 2 Whitby 42 single masted cutters. One of the two single-masted cutters sailed the Puget Sound for many years, regularly outsailing her ketch-rigged sisters. The other single-masted cutter is Malabar. All Whitbys were built to order and when we contracted for Malabar in 1980, we insisted on a single-masted vessel because we wanted superior sailing qualities. By ordering Malabar as a single-masted cutter, we eliminated the perfunctory mizzen, along with the windage, deck clutter of its standing rigging and, especially, the serious problem of the weather helm. Instead, we obtained a larger, more efficient, more powerful main (without increasing mast height or raising the CE) and achieved our goal: a dramatically better performer. We sold Malabar in 1983 because the construction of an aluminum 53-footer which we had ordered from Kanter Yachts was nearing completion. Some years later, we had sold our 53-footer and were looking for a boat more easily managed by a couple. We of course looked at Whitbys and, as Malabar had turned up on the market at that time, we had the opportunity to reacquire her. We were of course familiar with the advertised qualities of the breed: excellent interior accommodations; excellent galley; excellent engine room and tankage; excellent cockpit design, adequate sailing performance for a cruising boat (as a ketch of course). Because of the superior sailing qualities of the single-masted cutter, and because of the attractiveness of her accommodations (full teak interior and cabin soles, rounded doors, etc), Malabar was the best representative of the Whitby 42 and we were happy to be able to reacquire her. We had specific requirements for the ideal 40 to 45 foot cruising boat: sailing performance, safety, comfort, energy management, ground tackle, fuel management, dinghy handling, etc. Malabar was the ideal boat to serve as a platform upon which to incorporate the improvements we required.

47' Bluewater Yachts Vagabond 47
1986 San Carlos Sonora Mexico 47 Bluewater Yachts Vagabond 47

Jade Dragon is the original name of this regal Vagabond 47 Ketch built at the Bluewater Yachts Boatyard in Taiwan and designed by William Garden in 1986. She has proven her blue water cruising capabilities many times during those years. The owners have sailed her in winds gusting to 50 knots, pushing through high seas and swift currents, and she has never faltered or given reason to feel less than secure. The deck space gives plenty of room to safely run forward and adjust sails or attend to rigging. The center cockpit is spacious with seating for up to 6 people with plenty of room for steering. Engine controls are on the binnacle. Radar controls and chart plotter display is on the bulkhead next to the companionway for easy access and viewing while steering, yet not in your face while sailing at night. The aft deck is large enough to keep a dinette table and chairs while dockside for lounging. There is a walk thru on the aft deck rails to access dinghy. The deck has four large hatches, one forward, two midship, and one aft giving plenty of air flow throughout the cabin. Access to the cabin is through the companionway located forward center of the cockpit. As you enter the cabin you enter the main saloon. Chart table and nav station is to starboard. Forward of the companionway is a spacious main saloon with three large settees, dinette, and storage console. One settee pulls out to make room for two guests and one other has enough room for a single guest. Forward of the saloon is a large storage locker to starboard, head with sink and shower to port, and generous V berth forward that includes ample storage. Forward of the V berth is large chain locker with room for more than 800 feet of chain/rode. Aft of the saloon is the long galley to port with granite countertops, double sink, Nova Kool refrigerator, 4 burner Force 10 stove/oven, and storage pantry. Captain's quarters are located aft of galley with a centerline queen berth. The transom windows give a romantic glow to the space.

50' Advanced Multihulls Crowther Custom Design 390
2002 Myrtle Beach South Carolina 50 Advanced Multihulls Crowther Custom Design 390

Conceived, designed and built as a liveaboard, blue water cruising catamaran, Papillon has proven herself by completing a ten year 48,000 nm circumnavigation. Following an extensive refurbishment, this exceptionally well-maintained yacht is offered for sale to an adventurous new master. Her asking price is USD $825,000. Papillon was custom designed by Crowther Multihulls, Pty. in Australia and constructed at Advanced Multihulls in Florida. The vessel was conceived from the beginning as a safe, comfortable, easy-to-sail, liveaboard vessel, built to high standards, enabling travel anywhere in the world. She is a true owner’s blue water cruising yacht with comfortable accommodations for children and guests. High quality materials including Core-Cell structural foam, various E-glass reinforcements, Hydrex-100 vinylester resin and West Systems epoxy were used throughout. Structural components and furniture were vacuum bagged to optimize resin loading and adhesion. GRP structural members throughout the vessel add strength and stiffness, reassuring when the seas kick up. Papillon sports a strong and powerful rig and sail plan. The B&R rig is supported with Dyform wires. The mast is pre-bent and slightly raked. Support is derived from upper and lower shrouds and the forestay. Due to the B&R rig design, a backstay is not required. Wire terminations are Norseman-Gibb. A full suite of cruising sails in good to new condition is included. Papillon is equipped with virtually everything needed for world cruising. In our website’s pages, you’ll see photos and read descriptions of everything from design features to actual construction images to equipment details to how she sails to life aboard. Below deck, teak and other hardwoods are abundant and provide a warm, comfortable appearance. It has an attractive teak and holly cabin sole. The boat is fitted out for cruising and made an off-shore round trip between Port Lavaca, TX and Key West, FL. As equipped, it can be easily sailed solo. 19' West Wight Potter WWP 19
1996 Kokomo Indiana 19 West Wight Potter WWP 19

This Potter is the 'blue water layup' with the thicker hull. It has a 2013 Nissan 6 hp, long shaft outboard with only about 20 hours on it. It also has a new CDI roller furler. The main and jib sails are newer and very crisp to the touch. The trailer has been reconditioned with new led tail lights, new rollers, wiring, safety chains and packed wheel bearings. The original, wooden companionway door is accompanied by one that is smoked plexiglass. The boat is in great shape and ready to haul and launch anywhere. It is primarily a fresh water boat kept in the mid-west. A previous owner briefly sailed it in salt water, but always kept it on the trailer when not sailing. My sailing grounds have shifted from Lake Michigan to a mooring ball in Florida, so I no longer need a trailerable boat. This has been the easiest sailboat to launch and retrieve that I have owned. It also includes an exterior cover, a Hummingbird fish finder, covers for the mainsail, winches and tiller. The bimini cover and canvass was torn during the initial transport that will need to be replaced. Also, the previous owner got rid of the mast raising system that came with the boat as he never used it. I made a gin pole system using treated 2x4's that comes with all of the hardware. It is a great sailing boat that has been replaced by an older Catalina 27.

36' Lancer 36
1982 Marina Del Rey California 36 Lancer 36

Pri-va-sea is a great boat that we have extensively upgraded since we bought her 3 years ago. She has new Garmin GPS, Garmin GM10 Wind instruments, Furano radar and another Garmin GRP at the Nav station. She has a great layout with a large living area, an aft cabin, central head and surprising storage. Light and fast - this is a boat you will want to snap up quickly. The Lancer 36 was designed by Bill Lee (“Fast-is-Fun”), to be a performance cruiser, a great choice for light air family sailing. The prototype, "Chutzpah", was the "first ultralight", a two time class winner in the 1973 and 1975 Transpac Races, so you know she has the bones to compete. The luxurious cruising interior features a spacious forward salon, rarely seen, with settees port and starboard. This design opens up the boat, and hides amazing storage. An aft head and owner's stateroom follows on port, with a quarter-berth and nav-station to starboard. The well-equipped galley is central and efficiently designed. This is a good boat! A sailor's dream, she is fast, maneuverable and easy to sail. With her high performance, high sail area with a light displacement hull, generous beam, fine bow and fin keel, Trim will get you there. We might consider owner finance for the right buyer

46' Liberty 458
1984 Lake Erie Michigan 46 Liberty 458

Description: The Liberty 458 is recognized as one of the finest offshore livaboard cruising sailing yachts ever built. They were designed by Doug Peterson who designed many great cruising boats and built in the Shin Fa boatyard where structural integrity and craftsmanship were key goals and when graceful lines and structural integrity were standard in better quality boats. In today's boat building world of plastic and more plastic, it is a pleasure to offer such a vessel as this sailing, cruising platform. Liberty is built by Shin Fa in Taiwan, a respected boat builder of the times, not so long ago. If you love boats, you will surely agree with the warm polished teak, bronze ports – sumptuous amenities including china cabinets for libations, romantic lighting, and all the elegance of times almost gone, but not yet gone! The cabin boasts extensive use of hand rubbed teak, recently refinished teak and holly sole, warm interior lighting, strategically placed deck prisms for natural light, recently refinished and recently re-caulked teak decks. All of the interior bulkheads are covered with solid teak vertical staving. All ceilings as well as the hullsides have solid horizontal teak battens. There are marble counter tops in the heads. Turned solid teak banisters and thick handrails on either side of the companionway steps give you the first indication of what you are about to enter. Living aboard is comfortable with excessive amounts of storage throughout the vessel, a very useable sea galley that boasts marble countertops a refrigerator/freezer and three burner range and oven. The huge aft stateroom has magnificent storage, a raised queen bed with new memory foam mattress and a head with shower. Opening ports starboard and port create excellent ventilation. The gorgeous cabinetry abounds with a full length hanging locker, drawers and great storage everywhere. We are pleased to present this very well kept and upgraded yacht to those who seek quality and seaworthiness.

38' Robertson and Caine Leopard
2000 Boynton Beach Florida 38 Robertson and Caine Leopard

www.eastof95.com/cat/ The Leopard 38 is the one of those rare "owners cat". The 38 handles easily, has a large cockpit and a well appointed saloon and cabins. This is the three double cabin version with a master suite occupying the starboard hull and the two cabins in the port hull share heads and showers. The galley is up in the saloon. The deck layout is clear and the mainsheet traveller runs on an arch over the transom giving unimpeded access to the water via a wide aft bathing platform. The transom arch also serves to support the aft end of the bimini and to carry the dinghy. Deep louvre steps shade the forward sloping saloon windows while providing an easy and secure walkway to the saloon roof. The Leopard 38 is a competent performer under sail and power. As a privately owned yacht, this vessel has received significant upgrades and ongoing scheduled routine maintenance on her that truly distinguish her from many other Leopards out there. We have invested heavily in her upgrades since acquiring her. Comparison should be made between this and similar Leopards coming out of charter service, you often need to get the "island rework" out of her. This yacht is blue water ready – just sail her away as she has been upgraded and maintained for safe and comfortable extended cruising. This 2000 ROBERTSON and CAINE Leopard 38 comes with an owners three cabin layout, which makes for a very comfortable cruising yacht. Plenty of storage and space for upgrades, such as a generator.

This boat is in great shape and very clean! A great family boat with lots of cockpit room and interior head room. Award winning (American Sailboat Hall of Fame 2003) Rodger Hewson design. The Sabre story began in 1970, when the company's founder, Roger Hewson, set out to build the finest possible 28-foot sailing yacht using production line methods and fiberglass technology. In a small, 4,000 square foot building, with a handful of employees and a vast amount of market research which he had done on the marine industry, he designed and built the first Sabre 28, and introduced it to the market at the 1971 Newport Boat Show in Newport, RI. The boat was a success, and over the next fifteen years, 588 Sabre 28's were built.

1978 Vuda Point Marina Viti Levu Fiji Hawaii 36 Union Polaris 36

For sale is our 1978 Union Polaris 36 cutter "The Shannon". We have owned the boat since 2006, and have taken her on many adventures. This is a classic double-ender design by Bob Perry that is similar in appearance to a Hans Christian. The "Shannon" is an offshore cruiser ready to take you the rest of the way around the world. In 2010, the boat was cruised from Hawaii to New Zealand via French Polynesia, Cook Islands, Niue and Tonga. In 2012 the boat was sailed back up to the tropics from New Zealand to Fiji, and most recently, in October of 2013, the boat was sailed from Fiji to Futuna and back. The boat currently lies in Vuda Point, Fiji, but we (the owners) live in Kailua, Hawaii. Currently we have no plans to return the boat to Hawaii, so the boat must be viewed in Fiji. Most of the hard work has been done for you- all you need to do is put her back in the water and cruise Fiji! She's a great sea boat and you couldn't ask for a more well-constructed blue-water cruiser. We love the boat but our busy schedules don't allow us enough time to sail her. She needs a new owner who will give her the attention she deserves. She's not perfect, but she's functional and seaworthy. We are motivated sellers, so make us an offer Thanks for looking!

27' Vancouver 27 - a trailer is available too
1976 Fort Myers Florida 27 Vancouver 27 - a trailer is available too

Vancouver 27. One of the all-time classic long-distance cruisers. Designed by Rob Harris without compromise for short handed blue-water long distance sailing, she is strongly built, comfortable, a great all-weather performer, safe and seaworthy The above photo and the first four photos below are from my purchase survey in 2013, the rest are from April this year (haul-out in Port Angeles WA, trailer load, enroute to Florida and lastly in my front yard FL). I purchased her on Vancouver Island in July 2013, imported her in the USA at Port Angeles WA 4th July 2013. Then sailed her in the Straits of Juan de Fuca and the San Juan islands for the next 8 months. She sails beautifully with no vices, is easy to sail 'hands-off' even in the ugly straits chop (open ocean will provide different challenges!). I love this boat. April this year I towed her to SW Florida so to re-visit Caribbean haunts. However, I now find myself with a serious health condition and do not have energy to look after her. Ughh. She needs a new home, soon. If you are looking for a good V27 give me a call. I'm asking $18,500 (below book). A trailer is available for an additional $2000. If you purchase both, I might be able to deliver her a moderate distance (up to a 750 miles or so). Do make me an offer, She would really appreciate a good home, and deserves it. I am the second owner, the PO had her for 36 years, and looked after her really well. I'll forward a copy of my purchase survey (dated: 5/17/2013) should you demonstrate that you are serious. Looking forward to your call and your surveyors visit! Thanks for reading this. Fair winds... -Mark More info: features.boats.com/boat-content/2001/06/pocket-voyager bluewaterboats.org/vancouver-27

The aft cabins, aft head, microwave, and oven have never been used! With only 250 hours on her Yanmar, Fancy Free still has that new boat smell! Take a look around. You'll find that Fancy Free is not only the nicest, cleanest and least used 42 on the market, but it's also priced below that of the others. Not seeing Fancy Free just doesn't make sense. Call today to make an appointment to see your next boat.

38' Islander Freeport 38
1983 Charleston South Carolina 38 Islander Freeport 38

The Islander Freeport 38 is a classic Robert Perry design. The 38 is a modified version of the popular Freeport 36, using the same hull design but increasing the sail plan, adding a bow pulpit and modifying the cabin design somewhat. To learn more about the Freeport 36 you might want to look at the article by Melissa White in a 2013 article for Three Sheets magazine. The first sentence of this article really describes the boat much better than I can. “Some boats impress me with their saucy looks, some with their accommodating interiors, but rarely do I see a boat that combines the two.” The most distinctive thing about the Freeport is the drop down walk through transom ladder which really makes it easy to board or leave a dinghy, go for a swim, snorkel or scuba dive. The next most interesting item of the design is the huge head up forward where normally a V-berth would occupy. Aft of the head is the Masters Cabin with a Queen size bed to port and hanging lockers and drawers to starboard. The raised design of the salon provides plenty of lighting with the 4 large windows and lots of headroom that eliminates the cave like feeling of most sailboat salons. Beneath the salon cabin sole is the engine compartment resting in the keel. The original VW Pathfinder engine was replaced in 2010 with a 63hp Yanmar 4JH2 turbo charged engine with 3200 hours. Only 200 hours have been put on the engine since then. The sails consist of a 135% roller furled Genoa on a ProFurl furling system and fully battened mainsail with two reef capability. The canvas was all new in 2010 with the exception of the dodger which was built new in 2014. The Bimini covers the whole cockpit and comes with a 9 panel enclosure system for those cold days, which we never had in Key West.

www.cathyalan.com This is a turn-key boat, 2005 cruising/performance boat. Put her in the water and sail away. We have been out as long as 17 days, needing only a pump out once per week...no need for battery charging. This boat has been in fresh water since 2010. Stored in-doors in winter. She was sailed for 4 weeks each in 2010, 2011, 20012, 2 weeks in 20013, and 1 week in 2014 - all in fresh water and for 1-2 weeks at a time. The trailer has new brakes in 2010, 4 new tires 2011, two spares, and checked by an ASA professional every year. Motor has been properly winterized with new engine oil, filter, gear lube, and spark plugs every spring. Also flushed with engine attachment flush adapter (included) every fall. Cabin has been modified for 2 person cruising but can be returned to original design easily. We have sailed for a week with 4 people on-board by putting up a 2 person tent in the ama...really! We have day-sailed with 8 people on board. We always have an anchorage no matter how crowded the anchorage may be because we only need 2 feet of water, even when using the motor to maneuver. There is over $4,000.00 worth of “extras” on this boat, all less that 4 years old. We are asking $63,000.00. Make an offer. We may deliver based on location, the boat is currently in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

S/V Vacilando is the perfect boat for the cruising couple, with an extensive list of upgrades made in the last 2 years. This boat is a fast and proven cruising boat that has been across the Gulf of Mexico, to the Bahamas, the Chesapeake Bay and up and down the East Coast several times. Designed by the legendary William "Bill" Lapworth, the Cal 35 has well-thought out design elements that set her apart from other boats in this size and price range. The sailor in you will love the thrill of sailing “downwind in a Cal”, when she starts to surf, and her fast speed under sail when you get her trimmed just right. The human in you will appreciate the roomy interior, separate shower, and ample storage, which allows you to live or cruise comfortably on her. With this boat, you don't have to sacrifice space or sailability. She's got both. Vacilando has been extremely well taken care of, with an extensive list of upgrades (see bottom of listing). She is meticulously clean down below. Her teak interior is oiled regularly with lemon oil to keep it nice and conditioned, and smelling fresh. Her engine oil has been changed every 75 engine hours for the past two years, and the Universal diesel starts quickly and runs like a dream. consuming only .57 gallons of fuel per hour. She would be the perfect Coastal Cruiser and would love to be taken to the Bahamas or the Caribbean. You can read stories about Vacilando and her adventures (as well as see more photos and video) at www.mondovacilando.com and as featured in the Amazon e-book You Gotta Go To Know.

37' Crowther Spindrift 37
Brokers acting as buyer's agent will receive a 5 percent commission from seller. Coeur de Lion is a fine example of Australian designer Lock Crowther's classic Spindrift 37 design. She is fast, beautiful and comfortable. Numerous custom features make this lean, seaworthy boat truly livable. She is at home crossing oceans, yet can be anchored comfortably in 4 feet of water. This opens up cruising grounds inaccessible to the typical production multi-hull. Hull construction is Airex foam composite finished with Awlgrip. Standing rigging and sails are new 2014. She is rigged for single-handed sailing with all control lines led to the cockpit. Auxiliary power is provided by twin 1GM10 Yanmar diesels driving Max Props. Kick up rudders and dagger boards provide a draft of 2' 3". Slender hulls and ample bridge deck clearance allow her to keep going to windward in extremely rough conditions. In good conditions she will reach comfortably at 16 knots. Accommodations are galley-up. The salon table quickly converts to a queen sized berth. Each hull contains a stateroom with a double berth, head , and shower. Berths are laid out fore to aft, which is more comfortable underway than the athwart ships layout found on many boats. She ready to sail, well found, and well maintained. You will rarely find craftsmanship and attention to detail like this in this price range. If you are looking for a seriously fast passage maker with all the comforts of home, this could be the boat for you.  Details »

A note on buying and selling safely:
Anytime you buy or sell on the Internet, due to the geographic reach of the ads, be careful of fraud.

It has recently come to our attention that at least one seller has received a scam e-mail offer in which the buyer offered to overpay for the boat and then requests a check for the difference in return - what has come to be known as a classic "Nigeria" scam.

Requests to overpay for the boat and have excess money returned or given to a shipping company are most likely fraudulent -- never do this without consulting with your bank first.

Please always use caution and your best judgment if presented with a deal which doesn't seem logical, and be sure to talk with your bank to be sure all checks and transactions have been completed, cleared, and verified before releasing any property. Be especially careful of any transactions from overseas where such transactions might be reversed after some time due to fraud.

  • Never give your password to anyone. SailboatListings.com will never ask for your password. Any such request is an attempt at phishing.
  • Be careful of buyers or sellers using free email addresses (hotmail, yahoo, etc.)
  • Contact the buyer or seller by (non-cell) phone as well as online to help confirm their identity.
  • If a boat is not where it says it is, this is a strong indication of fraud.
  • After discussing the details, have the boat surveyed and arrange to see the boat before any money changes hands.
