| Hello and thanks for looking. I Sailed this nice S.V. from Ventura, California north to Santa Cruz, California, in February 2009. I sail her and used her as a part-time liveaboard until I moved into my house in 2010. S.V. currently can be viewed at Santa Cruz Harbor. The Columbia 38' full keel design and is similar to the Colmubia 36'. This William Tripp design, was created as a Bluewater sailboat. With its (1") thick hull, 6' draft, and wide beam this sailboat has a very good repretation as a open water boat. Also, only 37 total Columbia 38's were ever built. Compared to 235 Columbia 36's built. The Columbia 38' and the Columbia 50' were voted: "Best designed" S.V.'s By the Comlubia Owners Asso.
I am the third owner of this S.V. I was planning on refinishing the outside paint, above waterline, and to replace both side windows with with new Lexan windows. Bottom anti-fouling paint was accomplished (5) years ago, cleaning (1) year ago. I have too many other commitments, so I am selling her. The original owner, purchased the S.V. in 1970 (last one out of mold I was told), and she was sailed around the world on a (5) year circumnavigation global trip. This is a Federally documented Sailboat. The following are some reference links:

| If you haven't heard of the Allied Boat Company, they were a low volume producer of ultra-high quality sailing vessels, based in Catskill New york. With plenty of headroom and lots of storage space the Seabreeze 35 is not only a fine sailing yacht but an exceedingly well built cruising vessel. A well-maintained Seabreeze makes a strong and, for its length, spacious cruising yacht. The Seabreeze was designed as a racer/cruiser and so she is for her size and class very speedy. Because the Seabreeze is also a cruiser by design they have a very sensible 3'10" draft. On the rare occasions when you might want a deeper keel you can lower her 380lb solid bronze centreboard and have a 7 foot draft. If you have heard horror stories about centerboards, don't worry; in keeping with Allied's reputation for very high quality, they used only the finest components for the centerboard and the associated hardware. Because of this, problems with the centerboards on Seabreezes are very rare indeed.
An unladen Seabreeze weighs in at about 13400 lbs of which about 4000 lbs is ballast. Quintessence was built before the fuel crisis of 1973 so the builder was free to make the hull nice and thick unlike today's thin hulled boats which. Seabreezes also don't have problems with blisters like modern boats do.
I have owned Quintessence for 4 years, but recently moved to south america and therefore need to sell her.
She's not without a few cosmetic issues (see below), but generally is in sailable condition.
PROBLEMS:
1. Needs new toe rail. Toe rail has been removed and holes epoxied shut.
2. Rigging is old.
3. Pushpit needs work
4. External woodwork needs varnish. Details » |

| The main saloon is open and well lighted. The saloon's three large forward facing windows and two large side windows allow plenty of light into the saloon. In addition there are four opening ports, two overhead, and one each over the galley and navigation areas. The interior of the boat including the saloon is paneled in 3/8" solid teak and 3/8" white marine ply. The overhead is also 3/8" white marine ply. The hull sides from the waterline up, and the deck, and the cabin house are all insulated with about 4 cm of closed cell foam. The cabin sole in the saloon is strong, 3/8" solid teak, laid over 3/8" marine ply. Saloon headroom is about 76" ft. Galley and navigation console headroom are about 72". The saloon settee provides abundant seating with foam cushions around two aluminum chests which serve as the settee table. The settee design enables it to also serve as two single berths without having to reconfigure the settee daily for daily use or sleeping. Beneath the settee is abundant storage space. If one preferred the settee could be easily changed to the more typical arrangement with a "U' shaped settee and a center table.
The galley is to port in the saloon. It too reflects the boat's high-tech yet warm feel. The galley is well lighted by the two large fixed windows and an opening overhead port. The galley counter and cabinet frame are totally stainless steel which has been rotary polished. The galley counter backsplash, teak drawers and teak doors, are all solid teak. The counter has an integral, deep stainless steel sink, with both fresh and salt water spigots and a four burner propane stove/oven also stainless steel. A row of a dozen stainless contain conveniently hold all the typical utensils, spices, condiments, etc. Additional galley storage for food and utensils is in cabinets and drawers along the back of the saloon settee. | CEDRUS LIBANI is her name after the Cedars in Lebanon, which the Phoenicians( it is said that they were the first sailors) used their wood to make their sailboats.
She is a good size for a couple with a shallow draght keel. Lot of storage for her size, in the cockpit lockers, under the cockpit, under the seetees, and under the V-berth, and a bow locker.
She is in a very good condition, I have been living aboard her for 4 months now,and her current location is in Lake Charles Louisiana, but the registration is in Alabama. I could move her back to Montgomery Alabama if the buyer is from the area.
The photos are a little bit crowded because i usually take them when me and my family are sailing, but I will try to take new detailed ones soon.
I am planning to get a larger size boat to accomodate for my family, otherwise I would keep her around.
For more information, please feel free to contact me by phone or email.

We just stood the old wood mast and then came across a top of the line aluminium mast with sails and very nice rigging. For an extra $1000 I'll throw in the aluminium mast, sails and rigging with top-of-the-line stainless turn buckles with 5/16's Norsmans to fit the new 5/16 stainless wire. Along with all of the sails, hallares and pullings. And for another $1500 I will stand the new mast and engineer the rig.

| Overall: Hulls, Deck, Cabin, Flybridge, Cockpit, Hardtop
The Lagoon 440 is 44' overall (LOA) with a 27' beam. Displacement is a moderate 27,000 lbs. Construction of the hulls and cabin below the waterlin is solid epoxy laminate. Construction above the waterline, is composite cored sandwich of fiberglass, epoxy and balsa, with abundant framing throughout the interior for better strength and reduced weight. The hulls are roomy and have mid-sized keels to improve tracking and minimize leeway. The Lagoon's vertical window design allows better visibility and noticeably more room inside than traditional catamarans with sloping cabins and windows. There is a flybridge located above the saloon, separate from the cockpit which offers excellent visibility all around and has all the normal helm equipment, (wheel, engine controls, instruments, etc. Below the sturdy hardtop the cockpit is spacious and protected from the sun and weather. There is a welcome window/passthrough from the galley to the cockpit, making socializing much easier. Forward of the cabin, outside, is a smaller cockpit with bench seating facing forward. See photos for details. Interior headroom is throughout the boat is a generous 6' 9". This 440 is a "one-owner" boat and has been used relatively little use. Engine hours for this three year old boat are a modest 1,100 hrs. The condition of the boat, gelcoast finish and interior surfaces is like new. Details » |

| The entire interior has been redone in rich, varnished teak and teak and holly soles. There is nothing 1975 about the interior. The spacious saloon is open and airy. From the companionway a dinette is to starboard and the U shaped galley is to port. Forward of the galley and dinette a step down takes you into the saloon. Settees are on both sides with storage unerneath and behind. Forward of the saloon is a completely redone head with separate shower. Further aft to starboard the walkthrough leads past the nav station to the aft stateroom. A beautiful teak seat unfolds to work at the nav station or folds against the bulkhead to pass through. The aft berth is a vee with 5" thick foam mattresses. In the aft stateroom just aft of the walkthrough is a bathroom sink. To port, just forward of the berth is the aft head. A door in the head allows entry into the engine room. The engine room is HUGE with its own opening portlight for light and ventilation. The large room allows access to the top, front, back, port side and starboard side of the engine as well as every part of the generator. A sliding door from the walkthrough improves access to some parts of the starboard side of the engine. All NEW cabinetry 2001

We have/had the plan of installing an underwater port hole, and have now had one specially designed and developed for this boat. It is machined from one solid block of aluminum (=can be fitted with no galvanic corrosion), and is fitted with 19 mm toughened glass – facing the ocean side. Then an air chamber, and then a 16 mm bullet proof safety glass – for that extra safety.
The Port Hole is not fitted, but can be fitted at buyer’s request. We paid EUR 3200,- to have it designed and made!! Details » |

| Smartly designed trailer-sailer that is proven to be solid and seaworthy. Owned and maintained by a licensed mariner, who always sails singlehanded, for weekends and holiday cruises. She's made many successful trips to Catalina (yes - this little one is a trooper!) and one particular trip was in one of Mother Nature's bad attitudes!
All the "tough jobs" were done by professional boatyards. Only the 3rd owner of a 30 year old boat - she'd be a relic if not babied. Great hull condition inside and out shows she spent most of her life dry-sailed - clean inside and out, no mold or rot or softspots. There is some "spiderwebbing" in the fiberglass around commonly tromped cockpit areas but I'm a bigger guy and have had no problems with fiberglass failure.
Recently she lived in a quiet slip in Wilmington, CA so a barrier coat and 2 coats of Interlux VC17 antifoul were applied before I launched her in 2009, new backstay by Seatek Spars 2009 and a complete overhaul to the centerboard trunk($1200!)2009 by Colonial Yachts fixed any weakness, osmosis or leakeage that plagues so many other Chrysler centerboard-ers. She's finished in an eye-catching red/black/white combination.
She's used EVERY weekend - I take my office work with me and that's my weekend home - comfortable, affordable and very easily single-handed.
OK, so the reality check - it's a 30 year old boat with a proven and satisfied track record. Sure there's stuff to be done and it's not flawless but it makes me happy every weekend and hasn't left me stranded once!! I've had many guests aboard with many great memories and the only reason I'm selling is I bought a bigger, full keel boat that needs a heck of a lot more work than this one. But both these boats are paid for and this is not a desperate-for-cash sale - I have titles to both boat and trailer. She's not a junker and I'll contently wait until someone comes along who'll fall in love with "Runamuck" as I did. Details » |

| The Voyage Mayotte 500 is 50' overall (LOA) with a 27' beam. Construction of the hulls and cabin is a composite cored sandwich of fiberglass and epoxy with abundant framing for high strength and light weight. The hulls are narrow and have mid-sized keels to improve tracking and minimize leeway. The low profile design with low freeboard and low overall cabin height minimizes wind resistance and produces a very sleek, appealing design. Yet, even with the low profile, interior headroom is not compromised. Headroom throughout the boat is a generous 7.0 feet. The condition and finish of the hulls, deck and cabin is excellent.
Each hull contains two full size sleeping cabins, (each with a queen sized berth and unsuite private head. In addition each hull has a spacious passageway, with good headroom and lots of additional storage. In addition to the four staterooms there are large spaces in the bows, forward of the forward staterooms which can be used for additional sleeping space, or for sail or gear storage. These compartments are accessed via deck hatches. The deck has four opening hatches to allow light and ventilation into the two hulls and four staterooms. Each hull is fitted with an amidships aluminum escape hatch located in the aft staterooms, port and starboard. The engine room top-access hatches are located just forward of the stern steps and provide easy engine room visibility and access. Just aft of the cockpit and spanning the distance between the two hulls is a wide and secure teak platform for access to the cockpit and providing a secure underway storage location for the boat’s RIB inflatable and outboard. Each hull utilizes a 'sugar-scoop" design with three comfortable steps down to the water. Each sugar-scoop has a built-in hot & cold, fresh water deck shower. Fuel and water tanks are amidships in the two forward deck lockers. The two bow trampolines were replaced with new in early 2009 and are in excellent condition. Details » |

| The Nimble 20 is a classic design. Ted Brewer configured her to be rugged and strong, yet graceful to the eye. She was designed to satisfy the novice as well as the most demanding of experienced sailors. The Nimble 20 has a proprietary tabernacle. One person can safely raise the spar, as the tabernacle captures the first 22 inches of the mast. The custom mast has three separate compression tubes, and is fully controlled on the boat when in the stored position. By removing one stainless steel pin, sliding the self-aligning spar forward, inserting one pin in the tabernacle, walking the spar up (on the cabin top), inserting the second pin, and attaching the headstay, the Nimble 20 is ready to sail. On many boats this is a 20-minute task. The Nimble 20 is an intimate, trailerable yacht. She is rare in that she was designed to be trailerable, which means she possesses reasonable weight, a low profile, and the ability to fit into a garage. Trailer sag is common on some small boats, but not on the Nimble 20. Her vacuum-bagged foam core construction is very rigid. Although the cost is double that of a standard fiberglass lay-up, it’s worth the price because a trailer provides less support for the vessel than water. Going over a bump at 55 mph is when you really find out how well your boat is built. Details » |

| This is a fantastic boat that has all the bells and whistles. Very clean and well maintained as a two-owner boat. Great sailing boat that out performs larger boats, with it's winged keel, making the 3.5' draft easy to get into areas on the Intracoastal that those bigger boats can't. Grilling and fishing while standing in the integrated cockpit/transome is the envie of all our boating friends. The large cockpit with custome made table is our favorite place to entertain 3 or 4 other couples for happy hour. This is a must see boat, and I'm willing to show you all the ropes to having a great adventure. Details » |

| Built in 1938 by Casey Boatbuilding Company, Inc. Mandalay was designed for marine artist Frank Vining Smith. Smith is best known for his work “Sailing Towards Home.” We are reasonably sure that this is the original Mandalay, although the beam and waterline measurements are off by a few inches (this is likely the result of numerous restorations and refits over 72 years of boat life). Mandalay is pictured on page 374 of John G. Alden and His Yacht Designs. She is a cutter-rigged sloop, constructed of teak planking on white oak frames, and she is bronze fastened. Her original mast was wood, but she has been refitted with a 54’ Beneteau mast (aluminum). Her teak decks need some repair and refinish, mostly moisturizing and treatment after time spent in storage. She was totally wooded, above and below the waterline, in April of 2009. Repairs were made to horn timber, planking, and keelson. Some repairs are still necessary for a completely fair hull. Some areas of non-structural rot need to be addressed, but with the proper time and tlc should be resolved. Planking below the waterline was treated with Smith’s Clear Penetrating Epoxy, and primed with Petit Trinidad Pro antifouling product. Seems were reefed, but need additional reefing, cottoning, and caulking (cotton supply included with sale). All deck hardware is solid bronze, including antique stanchions and portholes. Full keel with cast iron ballast. Mast, standing, and running rigging in good condition. Sheets, lines, sails, cushions, and canvas have been stored indoors. She is currently in storage in Indiantown, Florida (dismasted, with engine block pulled and peripherals stored). She is very truckable, and easy to move. This vessel is a beautiful boat, and a testament to the time tested expertise of John Alden. She handles perfectly, and balances on a pin. She has been a good racer, an amazingly solid cruiser. She should be a dreamboat for a new owner with the time and resources to devote to her, full of history and classic beauty. Details » |

A note
on buying and selling safely: Anytime
you buy or sell on the Internet, due to the geographic reach
of the ads, be careful of fraud.
It
has recently come to our attention that at least one seller
has received a scam e-mail offer in which the buyer offered
to overpay for the boat and then requests a check for the
difference in return - what has come to be known as a classic
"Nigeria" scam.
Requests
to overpay for the boat and have excess money returned or
given to a shipping company are most likely fraudulent -- never do this without consulting with your bank first.
Please
always use caution and your best judgment if presented with
a deal which doesn't seem logical, and be sure to talk with
your bank to be sure all checks and transactions have been
completed, cleared, and verified before releasing any property.
Be especially careful of any transactions from overseas
where such transactions might be reversed after some time
due to fraud.
- Be
careful of buyers or sellers using free email addresses
(hotmail, yahoo, etc.)
- Contact
the buyer or seller by (non-cell) phone as well as online
to help confirm their identity.
- If a boat is not where it says it is, this is a strong indication of fraud.
- Indonesia and Batam (BTM / INA) are almost always indications of fraud.
Although
we are not aware of any seller falling victim to such a
scam because of a listing on our site to date, we thought
it wise to post this cautionary note.

Excellent condition MacGregor sailboat with 2007 Nissan outboard. New wheels, tires and trailer wiring. New battery and interior wiring on boat. Depth finder, VHF radio. Main sail, Jib, and genoa are all in good condition. The interior cabin has a removable toilet, and private bathroom area. Custom made canvas enclosure for the "pop-top" with screen/clear/black-out options depending on preference. This is an excellent sailboat that can easily be trailored and taken to various lakes and used for weekend camping for up to four people. This Mac is not the water ballast system, it is a swing keel that swings completely into the boat to allow for pulling the boat up on a beach or getting in very shallow water.
The pictures of the interior of the Mac do not show the cushions that were removed while I cleaned the boat.

Designed by Bill Shaw, the 1973 Pearson 26 (P26-Hull #688) is a fin keel masthead sloop with 321 square feet of sail area, 5400 lbs displacement, 4 foot draft, 8.75 foot beam and 21.6 foot waterline. The mast height off the water is 35 feet. Designated as a racer/cruiser, her hull speed is 6.24 knots with a PHRF rating around 215. Production started in 1970 and ended in 1982 with more then 1,700 built. The P26 is a well designed, stout boat with a solid glass hull and deck stepped rig. The mainsail is 137 square feet. Reefing of the main is not necessary until the wind is up in the high teens. The J dimension on the boat is large (11.6 feet) for a 26 foot boat. The cockpit of the P26 is about 6 feet long. It may sleep up to five and has an enclosed head with sink. It includes adult and children’s life jackets, dock lines, marine radio, compass, and hand held GPS. The current owner has enjoyed ten (10) seasons with the boat and has made several improvements as listed below. It includes a Johnson 6 horse power, long shaft 2 cycle outboard engine.

Designed and built to cruise, well-appointed and fully fitted, with a trailer and dinghy--a bargain. It has the layout advantages of a longer vessel, a full head, galley, and an owner's stateroom, all trimmed in cherry. Easily sailed (set up for single-handed sailing). With a 3/4 length keel and shallow draft it can get into places where most boats run aground. Note that except for 3 months, it has been sailed on freshwater since it was built in 1990 (and hauled out and fully tarped every winter). Owner can assist in delivery and setup east of the Mississippi, and will provide sailing lessons if needed.

Priced to sell, at $9,950 this is one of the few Hunter 27's with the Tall Rig. She and her owner have won the "Sardis Lake Annual Regatta" twice in the last 3 years, thus owning This TALL RIG Hunter 27 has more possibilities than the average run of the mill Hunter 27.
Besides decent sailing performance, the Hunter 27 is pretty stiff compared to similar vessels, which will help ease any passengers concerns and help them enjoy sailing all the more. This John Cherubini designed Hunter just may be the perfect family cruiser.
Well maintained, the boat is clean, the exterior wood is nicely oiled, and she sports a new custom stainless steel Bimini that adds to the enjoyment of the day whether at the dock or out sailing. With the comfort of the approximately 6'2" headroom and large interior, this boat is a great weekender that can bring you years of enjoyment.
Affordable, in nice condition, comfortable, when these three conditions are added to the Diesel inboard power, the wheel steering and the TALL rig, you have a winning combination.
Located about one hour south of Memphis, TN, make your plans to visit this Hunter 27 and make her Yours before someone else does. Attractively priced as she is, she will find a home soon.

Reduced for quick sale!!!The Pearson 323 was one of Bill Shaw's most popular designs for Pearson Yachts. The cockpit is comfortable, the interior space is large and well planned, the side decks are wide, and the amount of storage is wonderful. This is a great cruising sailboat for her size and a good sailor that likes a stiff breeze and just burrows in and goes. It has just received an almost new Yanmar YM30 engine that runs like a top with only 110 hours on it. Brand new Raritan marine head with new sanitation hoses. All other equipment is in good to excellent condition and it is ready to go sailing. It currently resides in a slip rented for $300/month transferable in Georgetown, SC. Located in Georgetown, she can easily go north or south. Forward cabin has a large V-berth with lots of storage. The head compartment with new toilet and shower and hanging locker lies athwart ship. The main salon has a U-shaped dinette to starboard and a settee to port. Aft are the galley to port and the nav-station to starboard. The owner has enclosed the original open storage shelving above the port and starboard seating to accommodate more storage and to keep it secure when underway.

The F&C 44 is one of the most gorgeous sailing yachts ever built. Designed by the world famous naval architect German Frers, The F&C 44 yacht has become a classic in their own time. Truly a work of art and performance. This vessel was completely, professionally refurbished and repowered in 2005
Starting forward and aft of a large anchor locker is the forward v-berth cabin with v-berth and infill to make a double. Aft of the bunk and to starboard is a full height closet with shelf storage and aft of this a full hanging locker. Opposite and to port is the head and shower unit with plenty of closet storage located outboard. Moving into the salon to port we find a u-shaped dinette with full sized centerline dining table with folding leaves, there is shelf and locker storage outboard of the settee. Opposite and to starboard is a straight settee berth with bureau and lockers forward as well as a pilot berth outboard and above the settee. Aft of the settee is a full sized aft facing chart table and nav station with dedicated navigators seat and plenty of storage for gear. Opposite and to port is a good sized sea galley, it is l-shaped with twin s/steel sinks forward, refrigerator/freezer outboard and 2 burner stove aft, there is also plenty of cupboard and shelf storage outboard. Moving aft through a privacy door from the galley takes us into the master stateroom, there is a single bunk to port with a large, full height hanging locker forward of the bunk. Opposite and to starboard is a double berth and forward of this is the master head and shower unit again with plenty of storage outboard. In this cabin there is also access to the aft cockpit by way of a companionway that is slightly offset to port. The whole of the interior is finished in traditional styling and great craftsmanship using best quality hardwoods throughout. She is also complimented by having plenty of ventilation through many opening side ports as well as large overhead hatches. Note: All upholstery replaced with new.

Get legendary Baltic quality in an affordable 39 footer. This fast (PHRF 114), offshore proven (Bermuda & back twice) draws only 4'11" with her bullet proof bronze centerboard up. And she still goes to weather (with the board up or down) like a dream!
My wife and I cruise and day sail Incandescent by ourselves, but with a few friends we clean up on the race course.
The bright varnished teak interior with red cushions is a standout.
The price is so low because the original teak decks are at the end of their useful life and new decks (teak or painted fiberglass) will be needed.

This Hunter 356 is a 2004 year model and is one of the new generation of Glenn Henderson design's. It is a great design that won Cruising World’s Boat of the Year when introduced. This boat is basically the same hull and interior design as the current 2009 Hunter 36. So she is quick and yet can handle the tough sea conditions.

People who long to sail away to the South Seas often choose the least expensive ocean cruising boat in hopes of affording the dream. Then they find the hull needs work, the sails replaced, and the rigging gone over. There are electronic system upgrades, a watermaker, wind steering vane, and, of course, safety equipment before the old boat is ready to go. By the time everything is ready, years have passed and many thousands of dollars have been spent making the boat’s original price a small percentage.
Due to an unforeseen change in plans, Millie J is for sale. Made ready for a Pacific Ocean crossing in the fall of 2009, she located in Washington State and is available at a very fair price. Millie J is a 35-foot custom aluminum cutter designed by Ted Brewer and completed in 2005 with the rigging and sails new in 2006. She is designed, built, and equipped for two people to safely and comfortably make transoceanic passages and she is ready to go now, as a glance at her equipment list will confirm. She is a no-nonsense cruiser, who will turn your head as she does most dock walkers, and is quite a value.

Washington.

It is an agile ocean-goer but allows for freedom of movement in shallow waters with a centerboard-up draft of only 2'6". She has been well maintained and shows pride of ownership.
