I have a swamped cruiser for sale on eBay for a starting bid of only $125 to cover my listing fee!! It was sitting at the dock when Hurricane Gustav blew in and knocked a pine tree on top of her. The damage is as follows: The main mast is about 10 feet shorter than it was and has been removed as has the mizzen. The boat is still partially submerged (I was told it was better on the engine and everything else below if it was not raised until someone was ready to drain all water from engine, etc...), the mizzen is twisted, The stays are all askew and has been removed. The hull was not cracked or damaged that I can see nor that a diver could discover. It will be an "as is sale and must be raised and removed within 30 days. This will be a deal for the right person!
IT IS IN FRESH WATER!
I am GIVING THIS BOAT TO A SERIOUS PERSON. DON'T CALL AND SAY "CAN YOU HELP ME FLOAT IT" OR "HOW MUCH MONEY WILL YOU GIVE ME TO TAKE IT AWAY". It is pretty much FREE but you must remove it in a timely fashion as the insurance company didn't pay for the boat and my neighbors are getting angry about it being in the canal. It must be removed before I can list my camp for sale. Only bid if you have the capability of moving this boat.
