Description:

Lions Paw is a well maintained C&C 40 centreboard which started its life on Long Island sound, rarely raced. 20 years in Maine as a lightly used family cruiser and since 2005 day-sailed in freshwater Lake Michigan Chicago. She has been consistently winterized indoors with gleaming light blue/grey topsides. This boat is extremely solid, reliable and dependable yet is surprisingly fast due to its powerful rig and nimble with a deep spade rudder. A shallow draft of 4'9 eases shallow harbor or cruising ground access. The centreboard was upgraded from a standard unit to a fiberglass/composite unit in the early 90's. Interior has been well cared for, with a polished sole and oiled teak with a glowing sheen. Interior cushions are in excellent condition.
