Description: Welcome to the listing of this beautiful custom designed gaff-rigged schooner known as Momentum. If you have not already done so, please e-mail: nautarcher@yahoo.com for more information including several photos of her recent construction. This vessel is a genuine gem as it is only 4 years old with all the look and feel of a classic wooden sailboat without the high maintenance as it is a composite of douglas fir encapsulated in West Systems fiberglass for the hull. A great live-aboarder as well as a downwind sailor, she is spacious and accommodates up to 8 passengers. "Momentum's" lines are based off of an 1833 New York Pilot Schooner originally designed by Isaac Webb in Long Island, NY. She has been well taken care of and is currently used as a successful charter sailboat in St. Augustine, Florida.

Equipment: Anchor Locker 30 x 30 inch hatch, 4 foot headroom, large enough for workroom, sail locker, anchor rode, etc. Anchor rode is fed through 2 stainless hawse pipes into the bilge. This area is separated from accommodations by a full length watertight bulkhead. It contains a Rule 500 automatic bilge pump. Double staterooms to port and starboard at forward end. Each berth is 48" wide at shoulder and 6' 6" long. Mattresses are 6" custom memory foam. Each stateroom has its own hanging locker and light. Beneath each berth is a custom made 75 gallon water tank. Between the staterooms is a large head with shower and Sealand Traveler Maine Toilet. Aft of the accommodations is the U-shaped galley to port and the 6 person settee to starboard. Floors are 3/4 inch varnished oak. Another watertight bulkhead separates this cabin from the aft cabin. Master berth is forward to port (queen size with 6" memory foam mattress) and another settee and pilot berth are to starboard. Aft is a large closet ( pre-plumbed for a head ) to port and the nav station to starboard. The 65 gallon fuel tank is located below the sole and a 25 gallon water tank is below the berth and another below the settee. Another full watertight bulkhead separates the accommodations from the engine room. Large open space after the aft cabin with the engine central. Full and unrestricted access to all of the engine is possible and comfortable. A manifold of Racor filters allows changing without shutting the engine down. Shaft is 1.5" Stainless and turns a 19"x11" Michigan three blade prop. The stern gland is a pack less shaft seal by PYI. The muffler is a Vetus waterlock and the exhaust contains a shut off valve for rough seas. And Much, much more... please inquire
