If you're looking to cruise to the Bahamas, "Island Gypsy" is for you. This spacious center cockpit boat spent 2 months there in 2008 and comes equipped with a wind generator, solar panels, auto pilot, GPS chartplotter with chips for the Bahamas, and Explorer Charts.
The hard top with a full enclosure is great for get togethers or bad weather. The raised cabin design offers interior volume found on much larger boats. The salon has a new CD player and speakers, optional custom table tops, liquor cabinet, and inlaid ceramic counter.
The Perkins 4154,4 cyl. diesel runs like a top on only 1/2 gal./hr. @ 2000 rpm.
The boat was hauled out and the bottom scraped and painted this spring. So, she ready to go again!
Accomodations:
The forward guest v-berth with filler cushion has a convenient dressing settee and private access to the day head.
The salon comes with the optional swiveling chairs to starboard and settee and table to port with storage below.
The step down galley is on the starboard side and the navigation desk with chair is on the port side. There is access all around to the engine.
The aft master stateroom contains a center line queen with a custom mattress, make-up vanity, hanging locker, lots of storage, and private head with tub.
The cockpit with full enclosure and lift up table will let you dine in comfort and take in all the great views. |
