1975 Allied Princess Ketch 36 "Kyrie" Hull #59
While cruising performance is the key to a successful cruising boat space above and below decks is of paramount importance. The PRINCESS 36 is a proven performer and abounds in space and comfort. Her massive 36' hull with 27' 6" waterline and 11' beam allows for the creation of the most spacious interior arrangement ever designed for a yacht of this length. Comfort has been planned throughout, to include a spacious galley are, very efficient quarterberth and chart table area, an open and airy main cabin salon, unique head and vanity arrangement and ultra comfortable forward cabin with Vee-berths. Abundant storage is found throughout.
The PRINCESS'S deck layout is straightforward and clean. Visibility and mobility from her enormous 10' cockpit is clear and designed for safety. Wide decks and low profile trunk cabin add safety and convenience. (From factory brochure)

As of Sept. '09-Engine is currently being overhauled and has been pulled out of vessel. Asking price for vessel assumes that all engine work has been completed and engine has been reinstalled. If a new owner would prefer to complete/oversee the engine work themself then price may be adjusted accordingly. Bottom paint needs to be renewed. "Kyrie" is an excellent cruising or liveaboard boat in very good condition for her age. 2008 BUC Blue Book Value (I haven't seen 2009 prices) was $32,000 without all of the extras such as central A/C, radar, etc. The reason for the low asking price is that the owner is getting married and no longer has the time for good upkeep. Reasonable offers are encouraged, but please don't waste time with ridiculous offers. |
