The Super Maramu performs well in light air, and in heavy weather offers a great sense of security since all sail handling is done from the security of the cockpit. A great advantage for safety.
The hull design makes the Super Maramu very sea-kindly, and the ketch rig allows for easy trim and balance requiring minimal rudder angle.
This vessel offers unusually large storage areas below decks for personal belongings, provisions, spare parts and tools in the dry bilge, up to 21"deep. The sump is in the hermetically sealed engine room. Above deck there are two lockers forward, and to port for the life-raft, also under the port cockpit seat, as well as both sides of the mizzen under the aft seat of the cockpit. On the afterdeck there is a full-beam storage locker for dinghy, outboard, 2 bicycles and more.
Dinghy for up to six persons, solar panels (115W/24V ea.) on both sides, HF whip antenna w. tuner immediately below deck, wind generator w. variable pitch rotor - completely self-tending and hurricane proof.
