This is a classic!! Heavy Hand laid up fiberglass hull in excellent condition. It was reported to be Lyle Hess's own boat.
Accommodations: There is 6 head room below. It has sleeping for six on 3 double bunks; two aft on each side of the table and one up forward. There is a two burner alcohol stove, deep s/s sink with manuel fresh and salt water to port in the galley and a large icebox that doubles as chart table and extra counter space to starboard. The head has a new Jabsco toilet with holding tank. The cushions are all in excellant condition.
Hull and Deck: There are 10 opening bronze ports.
Wheel with edson rack and pinion stearing and even provision for an emergency tiller.
Running Rigging and Sails:
All Halyards and sheets are lead to the cockpit; as are all the downhaul lines and two sets of reefing lines. There are three winches. The three sails are white dacron and are in like new condition. Sailcovers
Auxillary Power: There is a two cylinder Volvo Penta 18 hp diesel in good running condition.
Electrical: 12 volt and 110. Shore power cable and one new battery on board. |
