Description: This 38 Cheoy Lee is a David Pedrick design that is luxuriously elegant and heavily built. She is not confined to a fixed point on the globe, she can take you harbor cruising, gunk-holing, waterfront restaurant hopping, port to port adventuring, and even around the world. She features a modified fin keel (with 6700 pounds external lead ballast and 550 pounds cast iron internal trim ballast) plus a full skeg hung rudder to easily maneuver around the marina. This highly upgraded boat was originally delivered to the Chesapeake Bay (which is brackish water) and has been in Lake Michigan's fresh water since 2007. The teak interior features beautifully executed joinery with a teak and holly sole and plenty of storage. The cushions have been recently replaced throughout are very nice and of high quality fabrics. There is also a beautiful set of comfortable cockpit cushions covered in navy blue with red piping. The dodger, Bimini, Bimini connector, and frame cover will keep you protected from sun and spray while the helm cover, sail cover, hatch covers, and handrail covers complete the canvas ensemble. The galley has an Adler Barbour cold machine, a deep double bowl stainless steel sink, a Richmond 2 burner stainless steel stove and a ground fault protected 110 volt outlet. The head has a true live-aboard Groco porcelain bowl, a stainless steel sink, medicine cabinet with mirror, hand held shower head, and a ground fault protected 110 volt outlet. There are 3 Cedar-lined hanging lockers with automatic lighting, two lockers are in the Vee birth and one is in the aft cabin. The navigation station is rear facing to port at the foot of the companionway steps. There are 110 volt and 12 volt outlets throughout the boat.
