| Description: |
Built by Kevin Savell for the 1968 Olympic Games this boat is a sistership to the '64 Dragon built for Lowell North. LOA 29'2" Teak deck, mahogany planking with laminated oak frames. Epoxy seams make the hull as watertight as a fiberglass boat. Always dry sailed, kept on a trailer when not under sail. "Pip" is a former North American Champion and is currently being raced in the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club Dragon Fleet. A fully restored classic that is competitive with new hulls. Two sets of sails one of which has never been out of their bags. Heavy duty tandem axel trailer, Aluminum spars. |
