Description:

A classic S&S design, hull #46, this well maintained keel/centerboard model and tall rig has great sailing qualities and shoal draft when needed. Originally owned by a Tartan dealer, she spent her first ten years in fresh water in Lake Superior. Purchased by her second owner, she was outfitted for a cruise to Tortola in the BVI in the fall of 1997. Her current owner brought her back to New England in May 1998. The story of this delivery appeared in the Sept. 1998 issue of BLUE WATER SAILING. Since that time she has been lovingly maintained and cruised each summer including three cruises to Maine and stored, covered, each winter. The three cabin one head layout is ideal for a coastal cruising family but this well-found boat is also easily handled by a couple.
