Description: Great family boat for that weekend get-a-way or cruise to Georgian Bay or Mackinaw. This is a well built fiberglass 1969 Columbia masthead rig with fin keel and skeg rudder. She is a solid fiberglass hull (not balsa core) without any blisters. She is rigged for solo handling as all Halyards are lead to cockpit. The mainsheet traveler is mounted aft of the tiller which is convenient for the helm and doesn’t block companionway. Two small chrome winches on cabin top for halyards, plus 2 two speed chrome winches for jib trim and two additional chrome winches for spinnaker trim. She has a special outboard well which will handle a larger long shaft outboard when the river current is much stronger or her short shaft 2000 Johnson 5hp outboard engine that can be easily removed and stored either in her lazerette for racing around the bouy’s. Enclosed head. Sleeps two in forward compartment; two on dayberths and two on the dinette table. Headspace in the cabin 6 foot. 12 gallons of fuel and 18 gal of freshwater. Lots of accessories like sparfly, ship to shore radio, life jackets, horseshoe ring, flare gun with flares, approximately 150ft of 3/8 and anchor rode with 30’ of chain and a Danforth anchor. Interior cushions, fenders, charts and extra lines and cockpit cushions make for quite/peaceful afternoons on the water. Flared keel with VC17. LOA: 27' 7" I: 34' P: 27.3 E: 11.3 Sail area: 343 sq ft Draft: 4'10" Ballast: 3,000 lbs lead keel Designer: William Crealock Displacement: 6300 lbs. For more information: 248-677-5916

Equipment: It has a Harken drum and swivel Furler for easy sailing. This saves space below and allows the boat to be sailed solo. In-fact many sailors just rollout the headsail when short-handed. The jib on the furler eliminates the need to remove the jib after each sail. The boat has 6 Jibs/Genoa’s. The boat has a ‘07 Dacron main, 3 racing sails a Mylar 155%, 135% Mylar and 120% Mylar. She also has a 150% Dacron for practice, a storm jib when the wind picks up and 170% Dacron for light air sailing. For downwind sailing she has all the spinnaker gear you need for both her ’06 .75oz Asymmetrical spinnaker and her .75 oz Symmetrical spinnaker. She also has a specially designed sprint pole to extend the tack of the Asymmetrical beyond her bow pulpit. Datamarine digital windspeed and apparent wind indicator, knot meter, depth sounder and Garmin GPS.
