This 36' S2 11.0 Aft Cockpit is located on Manhasset Bay, in Port Washington New York on Western Long Island Sound. She is a nimble upwind performer, and very spirited off the wind, she is a sure footed rugged vessel in heavy conditions. S 2's are very well known for their solid hull construction durable non skid decks and oversized standing rigging. Comfortable below with plenty of warm hand oiled teak, and teak & holly sole. Accomodations include a large private v-berth forward with large opening hatch for ventaltion and egress. Enclosed head with hot and cold pressurized water with shower, accessed by 2 doors, one from the main cabin and from the v-berth. She boast a large main cabin with u shapped dinette and a sette across to starboard. There is a dedicated and generous forward facing nav-station to starboard and a huge quarter berth behind it. Across and to port is the galley with double ss sinks 3 burner stove and oven and large Adler Barbour refrigeration. There are plenty of drawers and lockers for storage and gear. she is a well laid out and comfortable cruiser that is easy to sail. She has an oversized Harken Roller Furling System, and new dodger. There is a 17" three bladed MaxProp, and is powered by a Volvo MD 2040 40 hp diesel w/a Balmar Alternator 912 -100 AMP. She has a MS255 Deluxe Sail Drive System which provides a smooth ride of 6.5 knots at 2400 rpm. She is a well maintaind classic in need of a new home as the owner is moving up |

Christina, has been professionally maintained through the years and has always been a very popular model.
She has a new Sail Cover, and Dodger, The interior cushions were replaced about 8 yrs ago and are in very good condition.
Ground Tackle includes a 35lb.CQR Anchor ( shows very little use)
Newer Hot Water Tank and Plumbing
Holding Tank is Glassed into the Hull adding Stiffness, and there is a masserator pump and deck pump-out.
