| Description: |
FEARLESS is just as at home exploring the world as she is racing around the buoys or entertaining friends and family. Thanks to the design efforts of Neils Hellenberg and Alden Yachts, FEARLESS is one of only a few luxury sailing yachts to meet each of these specific requirements.
With the help of the builder, Eric Goetz, FEARLESS has proven herself to be quite successful in big boat racing, without compromising any of the onboard comforts one expects from an Alden designed yacht. In fact, she can be quickly modified from cruiser to racer, as her design incorporates such features as removable coffee grinders, cockpit table, and manual winches. Her carbon fiber spar and Park Avenue carbon boom allow for a powerful, fully battened mainsail configuration that is easy to handle short handed.
FEARLESS has been professionally maintained and captained since her refit in 2006 at NEB. Her refit included a new Cat engine, Northern Lights generator, fresh and black water systems, hull side paint, and electronics. In the last two years she has had her spar and boom painted and serviced, interior and exterior upholstery upgraded, bottom painted, sail inventory replaced with Quantum Sails, and more. Additional details of past and present refits available. |
