Description: Refugio is a finely detailed and well maintained example of the very popular Gerry Douglas/Catalina Yachts designed 320. The comfortable cockpit with stern rail seats, roomy accommodations below, and predictable yet invigorating performance make this a perfect choice in a 32-foot platform. Accommodations: Berths for seven are provided in the V-berth (2), port settee (1), starboard settee (2), and beautiful queen sized aft cabin (2). The cabin is finished with blue UltraLeather cushions and satin varnished teak joinery. Down the companionway, the chart table is located conveniently to port just forward of the proper seagoing galley. Forward on the starboard side of the main salon is an adjustable height dinette table that converts to a snug double berth. There is a smaller, custom-made cocktail table that can be used in place of the standard dinette table, making it easier for a group to enjoy an evening visiting in the cabin. The head with molded sink, vanity and shower is located aft of the starboard settee, and a cedar-lined hanging locker is positioned on the starboard side of the companionway. Ample ventilation is supplied by 5 screened opening ports and 4 overhead hatches. Galley The galley is equipped with a top-loading insulated icebox with 12-volt Adler Barbour refrigeration. The Hillerange propane stove has 2 burners and an oven and is gimbaled for duty under sail. Completing the galley setup are a Samsung microwave, two deep stainless steel sinks, hot and cold pressure water, and plenty of storage in cabinets both above and below the work surface.

Equipment: Head A reliable manual Jabsco marine head with holding tank and macerator is provided, along with hot and cold pressure water. Hot water is supplied electrically by a hot water heater when dockside and via a heat exchanger from the engine when underway. A 12-volt shower sump pump discharges shower water, helping to keep the bilge clean and odor free. A molded vanity and sink provide easy-to-clean surfaces. A 22-gallon holding tank may be emptied via a dockside pump out or discharged via an electric macerator pump. Electrical Refugio has both 110V AC and 12V DC services. The 110-volt AC shore power provides dockside service for hot water, multiple outlets in the galley, head and each cabin. Both the 110V and 12V service panels are equipped with breaker switches above the nav station. An electric Maxwell windlass with separate breaker is a welcome component for cruising. Electronics An Autohelm Navcenter 600 chartplotter is located at the helm along with Autohelm wind, depth, and speed instruments and an Autohelm ST4000 autopilot. Down below there is a Raytheon Ray210 VHF radio and a Pyle PLCD10MR AM/FM/CD player with speakers in the cabin and the cockpit. Sails and Rigging The standard 135 % genoa is mounted on a roller furling unit. The mainsail features in-mast furling, and all lines and sail controls are led aft and handled from the cockpit with rope clutches and cabintop winches. Large self-tailing primary winches, cabintop traveler, double-ended main sheet, and boom vang make sail adjustments easy. The sail inventory also includes a once-used cruising spinnaker with snuffer. Mechanical The smooth running, professionally maintained Yanmar 3GM30(FWC) diesel with approx. 1,750 hours will get you safely to your next port. Safety Equipment and Accessories Refugio is a very capable and accommodating sailboat. Her “miscellaneous” list includes the required Coast Guard safety equipment, a properly sized anchor and rode, SS swim ladder on the walk through transom with swim platform, a dodger and bimini with connector panel, custom helm seat, custom teak cockpit table, propane grill, and spare parts including belts, filters, and thermostat.
