| Description: |
I have owned and lived aboard this boat, "Island Time" for 3 years. During this time, I have spent nearly $14,000 in restoration and upgrades. It is very roomy for its size and the interior has been customized with a longer countertop and larger galley while still comfortably sleeping 3-4 people. This boat has been restored inside and out and is a completely functional live-aboard equipped with the following: |
| Equipment: |
INTERIOR
-Mermaid Marine central A/C with Digital Thermostat
-Side-loading refrigerator and freezer (run by a 2000w inverter and 2 battery banks while out on the water and can easily run for 2-3 days without a recharge.)
-Microwave
-Propane Stovetop
-Icebox functional but currently used as a pantry
-Hand pump sinks with 50-gallon fresh water tank (simple and dependable).
-Fully functional manual head with 15 gallon holding tank (Y-valve installed to allow either salt-water or fresh water flushing.)
-26' LED TV with digital antenna
-New Sunbrella fabric cushions for interior (stuffed with memory foam)
-New Digital Depth Sounder
-All interior and navigation lighting upgraded with switchable red and white LED.
-Solar Fan in head
-New D/C electric fuse panel
-A/C shore power with 30A panel
EXTERIOR
-New standing rigging in 2011
-New deck paint (2 party polyurethane) in 2012
-New non-skid in late 2012
-2 main sail covers, 1 bow awning, sun guards for teak rails
-bimini with extra canvas
-bulkhead mounted compass
-All bright work stripped and redone in 2012
-teak swim platform w/ ladder
-All lines led aft to cockpit
-Stainless dinghy davits (not installed)
-(2) tiller pilot units with hardware installed
SAILS
-(1) main
-(1) 130 roller furling
-(1) spinnaker w/ heavy duty 14 ft. pole
ENGINE
1987 Mercury 9.9 long shaft outboard (2 stroke)
-I just have to say that this is the most dependable, easy to start outboard I've ever had. It doesn't look like much but it's simple and worry free. |
