Bottom repainted this season and it's ready to go!!! Review the photos to see the fresh bottom job done in October 2012.....
"Restless" is a great example of a Morgan 43 sloop and a very sought after Nelson Marek designed center cockpit cruiser. She can sleep six with an aft master queen, a v-berth guest cabin, and the salon couch that converts to accomodate two.
The aft cabin is large with an offset fore and aft queen berth to starboard. It has a private master head with a bathtub and ample storage. There is a hanging locker on the port side with a bank of drawers next to it. Forward of the master stateroom the engine room is spacious and contains all the mechanical equipment including the new air conditioning unit. The galley is forward of the engine room and has all the comforts of home. Forward of the galley, the salon is spacious and incorporates the couch on the port side which converts to a double bed with another couch on the starboard side. The navigation center with chart table is on the port side. The guest head is to starboard just as you enter the v-berth.
The cockpit of "Restless" is very roomy and uncluttered for the avid sailor. The current owner recently added a Simrad GPS navigation system and integrated wind intruments. The side decks are wide and provide easy access forward and aft. All of the winches, the standing gear, and the running gear have been checked, rebuilt, and tested. All the sheets and halyards have been replaced. The sails have been inspected and serviced as needed. The boat is in excellent condition and ready to take her new owners to the islands.
Last summer the owner added a dinghy davit system (Dinghy NOT Included In The Sale) and solar panels to the transom as well as an inverter and a wind generator. "Restless" is now self sufficient for long range cruising and the solar panels and wind generator provide enough battery power to run the refrigeration and freezer nonstop. |
