Owner version Lavezzis do not come up for sale very often and, accordingly, this boat is often in high demand. Platypuss was sailed in the BVI from 2003 to 2008 and, according to the 2009 Surveyor’s report, she appeared to have been only lightly chartered and was in good condition. The current owners sailed her up to the Chesapeake Bay where she has been upgraded, very well maintained and never chartered. Platypuss offers exceptional live aboard and cruising comfort with excellent sailing performance. The OEM gennaker and bow sprit were not used in charter and so are almost ‘as new’. The current owners love this boat but have purchased a larger boat to suit their long term cruising and live-aboard needs.
