35' Allied Boat Works Seabreeze

Description: This boat is in the midst of restoration. We have refinished the ports and put new Plexiglas in. We have painted the deckhouse. We were about the continue the painting process until illness kept us from finishing our project. At this price you get a classic glass cruiser. She needs a new toe rail, life lines and the deck hardware replaced (it's here at home). She needs painting too. Mast and rigging are sound. She really is an amazing boat and very sea kindly. The engine has about 200 hours on it. She has been out of the water for 10 years. She also comes with a dinghy.

VIII. Comments
Yawl rigs greatest virtue seems to be ability to just drop the main and run “jib & jigger”
in heavy weather. For use on the Chesapeake last year we took the mizzenmast ashore, sailed as sloop-this cleaned up aft deck and didn’t seem to change speed much. In general we have been pleased with this boat’s relatively less tiring motion in a seaway, which we contribute, to high L/D ratio. It also does better in very light air than you might expect. The standing rigging appears to have been renewed in the mid 90’s with Norseman fitting and Harken furler.
