FOR SALE:
36 Junk Rig Benford 30 Motor Sailor

Design is Jay Benford.
Details by Tom Colvin.

Sail plan H.G. Hasler, J.K. McLeod.
Built by Manning.
Details Otter Works.
Built in USA.

Unfortunately the only photo I have so far of the vessel in the water is from before the mast was installed, and before the skiff davits were completed. I intend to produce proper photos this spring.

This motor sailor is designed for three persons, world cruising, while living aboard comfortably in extreme cold or heat, for many years, and all oceans, with an extra level of fanciness for aesthetics through out the vessel.

Here is a motor sailboat that you can sit at the dinette, warm and dry, and see outside in all directions!

This is a vessel that can be single handed easily, and keep the crew warm and dry, as sails or motoring, is operated from with in the heated main cabin. The 50HP Perkins makes it practical to pull a second large vessel continuously if need be. The vessel steers like a sports car, and is ready to launch today.
