| Description: |
Built in 1986 in Gordonville, Texas, in the post blister era, Starboard Home is extensively equipped and has been meticulously maintained.
The Valiant 40 was designed by Robert Perry and has established an extraordinary record as one of the world's most decorated boats. It is considered to be one of the best cruising boats for a couple because it is easily handled by two people and its' sea-kindly design allows fast passages in comfort in all conditions. In addition, its' accommodations provide great living upon arrival in harbor. The fact that Valiant Yachts still has the basic design in production is a testament to the success of Bob Perry's design and the quality of construction. Based upon surveys by the factory a high proportion of the Valiants built are actually out cruising.
Starboard Home has been equipped for ease of passage making with all roller furling sails and redundant self-steering. Many amenities, including water maker, large freezer and air condition enhance comfort while living aboard. |
