Macgregor 26M sailboat with 50 HP Tohatsu outboard, purchased new in mid-2004 --- Fantastic to sail, also fun as power boat. Original owner, non smoking, no pets, stored on trailer not in slip/water, excellent condition.
Includes all standard factory items, plus improvements over 26X. Such as Dagger board keel instead of swing down keel with less drag, rotating mast for improved sail performance and speed, water ballast, wheel steering, running lights, 12v interior lights, interior seat cushions and carpet, sink, all normal rigging and lines/halyards, standard mainsail, factory built trailer with boarding ladder at front.
Options/extras ordered from factory include blue hull, removable center table, roller furler for headsail, 150% Genoa instead of jib, mast raiser system, cockpit cushions, bimini that covers entire cockpit, surge brakes on trailer.
Options/extras added during fit-up/prep at Texas dealer include 50 HP Tohatsu outboard (low pressure direct injection, low emission) with controls from cockpit steering pedestal to outboard, 6 gal fuel tank (capable of two 12 gal fuel tanks if desired), 1 battery ( can hold 2 batteries if desired).
Other items I added include dock lines, fenders, life jackets, fire extinguisher, porta-pottie, spare tire, plus I have included a new boat cover still in box
The boat is in excellent condition. Never in a storm, no damages, no patches. Motor is in excellent condition and starts up right away every time. I replaced the battery about 2 years ago.
