S/y Eleonor
Originally built as stationary rescue cutter for the northern Baltic Sea by Oscar Shellin 1947 in Kungsör, Sweden.
Measurements: 13 m x 3,8 m x 1,2 m (1,6 m board lowered)
Materials: Double honduras mahogany planking copperfastened to laminated ash-frames.
Oak in all other constructions. Teak-deck. All fittings in bronze. Ballast 3,5 tons lead.
Converted in the 70th to gaff rigged ketch.
Motor: Ford 4 cyl. 82 hp
This boat has been laid up since the 90's. The hull has been treated with epoxy and decks refitted.
Interiors and rigging have to be re-mounted. As seen from the pictures, the boat resambles the lines of an Collin Archer, but with shoal-draght.
