1979 J24 hull #1390 "Cheap Thrills" For Sale - Bought in 2005 from Duluth, Minnesota - Sailed out of Gimli Yacht Club for past 5 years and currently located there - Wednesday night raced and weekend day sailed "lightly" on/off for last 5 years with 1 year (2008) left on the hard - Hull is in perfect condition for it's age and is in accordance with all International J24 Class Racing specifications - Deck was completely redone in (winter 06/07); completely sanded and a new coat of non-skid applied - Keel faired and moved forward - Vermiculite professionally removed from keel with official documentation - Official measurement certificate from International J24 Class Association - Last year (2010) racing baltoplate finish put on bottom Miscellaneous - 2001: 3.5 Nissan outboard motor - Porta potty (never used) - stereo - brand new marine speakers (installed 2010) believe they are JL or Alpine - Tic Tak racing tactician/compass ($500) - extra tiller handle (connects to rudder itself) Rigging/Hardware - tiller extension - 2 winch handles - 2 sets of cars - spinnaker hardware - spinnaker pole Hardware on boat is set up for J24 fleet racing, nothing needs to be touched and the boat is a proven winner Sails - 2 mains - 2 - 150 genoa - 1 - 100 jib - 3 spinnakers Custom Built J24 trailer - heavy duty built for long distance traveling with boat launch ability (extendable neck) - used it last year to take boat out of water as crane was broken (worked well)
