The Talou is a 56' Samson sailing ketch with traditional rigging. She is also classified as a "C" class Tall Ship and was built in 1978 for off-shore cruising. The boat features a comfortable, roomy cockpit and a large fore and aft deck area for sunbathing. Below decks, the boat has a rich mahogany interior, full galley, two heads with shower and a stereo with CD's of almost every type of music. In addition to all Coast Guard required safety equipment, out of date Talou has ship to shore radio. Talou is maintained to the highest standards for your safety and comfort. Talou needs some maintenance on engine exhaust leak. main mast needs to be sanded and painted. some exterior paint required. fuel tank has a leak at full fuel. Galley diesel stove needs to be adjusted had been rebuilt but not working well. Talou can accommodate groups from 1-15 people for day sailing.
