Teak decks redone with new caulking, wood stripped, sanded, refinished with teak oil. New 11 gallon hot-water heater, new Electra Scan toilet/aft cabin. New Splendide washer-dryer. Granite countertop in galley & hallway storage area. Queen- bed in aft cabin. New Force Tegas, 3-burner galley stove w/oven. Dickinson Antarctic diesel heater & propane heater in salon. All interior cupboards like new. Four year old sail covers. Sails in excellent cond. Sleeps 6-8. Comes with Custom-made FULL canvas cover ($4000 value). Hull gel-coated 8 years ago. Chain plates reseated 9 yrs ago. Sailed from England to Central America, through the Panama Canal, then to Hawaii. A wonderful blue-water cruiser. In-water survey from late 2010 emailed on request. Masts are due for varnish & bright work on the hull/railing needs sanded & teak oil. Tons of work done on this boat. Reason for reduced price: A heavy wind storm broke the mizzen mast this summer. Both masts pulled 5 months ago--the mizzen had dry rot. The main has 1 small section of dry rot close to the top (Both inspected) the balance is solid. The masts are hollow core with wiring inside & not closed off, allowing moisture inside. A Boatwright/woodcraftsman inspected & bid the repair/replacement: Repairing the top of the main, varnishing, NEW mizzen and varnish, installing both along with rigging. Total cost was $18K (quoted last fall). Our asking price was $145K, well below value when in full repair. We’re taking $30K off to accommodate the repairs & replacement of the 6 batteries and a new fridge--the ‘brain’ was damaged when lightning hit the dock power source, plus giving you $10K more to use on accessories/dingy/etc. This makes the final price AS IS $115,000.00. Appraised value is $169,000. when in full repair.
