She has been in fresh water most of her life and shows a lot of evidence of being very clean and lightly used. Making this one of the most unique Westsail deals ever, Bertha comes with an almost new (2006) professionally built triple axel trailer. I have personally pulled this boat thousands of miles saving thousands of dollars in hauling costs, with my diesel pickup, which is also for sale upon request. The trailer has also allowed Bertha to be launched and recovered off a boat ramp, allowing access to waters without launching capabilities and saving even more money. The trailer allows the owner to do their own bottom jobs, and to take the boat out of the water when not in regular use so that slip fees do not get out control if the boat is not being used during a particular season. Deck & Hull: -Deck is extremely solid, built in typical Westsail fashion with absolutely no soft spots. -Hull is equally solid, in beautiful condition, with no blisters. Equipment:

Engine: -two cylinder 15 HP Volvo model MD7 diesel -engine runs great and has a low 830 hours on the hour meter. -engine has been regularly serviced with new fuel filters, oil and oil filters, and new fuel water separators in May 2012. -cruise speed is about 4-5 kts with 6 kts maximum. -engine is extremely efficient and burns very small amounts of fuel. -36 gallon aluminum fuel tank under the port quarter berth with deck fill and ventilation. Plumbing: -Single round stainless sink in head, surrounded by a molded fiberglass counter. -Groco manual head. -13 gallon polyethylene holding tank located under the forward berth. -the underwater thru hull fittings are Groco bronze seacocks, installed with backing blocks. -Manual bilge pump. -Rule submersible electric bilge pump with float switch installed and working. Trailer: -Trailer was professionally built in 2006 specifically for this boat by Sail Trailers located in Columbus, GA. I called Sail Trailers about a year ago to see what a replacement cost would be for the trailer and they quoted me anywhere from $10,000 to $12,000. It is a triple axel trailer with each axel rated at 6,000 lbs for a total trailer rating of 18,000 lbs, well above the 13,500 lb load of the Westsail. All the bearings were disassembled and repacked in May 2012 as well as all lights, electrical system and brakes checked out. The boat is currently on the trailer and the trailer is ready to roll right now and should be good for many thousands of miles. The trailer allows the future owner to launch, transport, haul, and bottom paint which makes this Westsail a spectacular and very unique opportunity. There is a 2005 Chevy Duramax diesel which I have personally pulled this boat and trailer with for thousands of miles that can be added to the deal for a mere $11,900 which is also a great deal.
