| Description: |
I have a 1978 ODay that needs to go to a new home. I started refitting this boat 2 years ago and have too many hobbies. The boat is solid with no blisters. So far, I have removed all deck hardware and rebedded (no core rot, scraped all bottom paint (except around trailer pads), gel coated hairline cracks, kiwi grip on non skid surfaces. I removed the rub rail because it was cracked. It will need a new rub rail. I bought new teak and installed that as well. I bought a brand new Ida Sailer Pop up rudder and new standing rigging. I have a new hummingbird depth finder and 2 new electrical panels and new lights that need to be installed. it is basically a project that is almost finished but I don't have time to finish. The hard work is done. It is sitting on a dual axle trailer. The trailer, pop up rudder, and standing rigging alone are worth almost as much as I am asking for the boat. I will continue to work on this boat as I have time and adjust price accordingly. Thanks for looking. |
