Beneteau 351 Oceanis “Arundel” is a performance cruiser with upscale accommodations; a 100% freshwater vessel with several upgrades that make her very special to board. Recent certified marine survey described Arundel in “excellent” condition cosmetically, structurally and mechanically. She is well designed topside & below with large wraparound cockpit & 2 spacious staterooms. Arundel is fast, very easy to handle & offers much more room than you would expect for a vessel of her size; truly the best of all worlds in terms of performance, ease & interior. On deck is a large cockpit with a versatile & custom-designed bimini/dodger; wraparound teak seating w/ample storage; fold-away cockpit table w/centerline helm pedestal & built-in ice cooler. Additionally there is a walk-thru transom, swim deck w/Swedish shower, stainless steel deck rail, propane grill & rigging design that makes single-handling simple & efficient. Below, craftsmanship & finish are excellent. A full galley contains a top-load refrigerator/freezer, double stainless steel sinks, 3-burner gimbaled stove/oven & upper & lower cabinets. The enclosed head has a vanity & shower. Additional features include hot water heater, reverse-cycle AC/heating, large-convertible dinette, Nav station, interior speakers, stereo, staterooms w/hanging closets & storage as well as added cushioning on mattresses. NEW IN 2012: Stainless steel bimini/dodger is covered in stamoid material which is superior, stronger & easier to maintain than sunbrella. It has multiple set up options that adapt to any weather & retracts into custom-built boot. ALSO NEW are cushions in the salon which are covered in breathable material which gives a rich, soft, versatile leather look & feel. Cockpit cushions are custom-order, closed-cell polyurethane that are very durable & float; covered with a UV protective material that allows much more seating comfort & enhanced breathing & drainage. Intake & exhaust heavy-duty bronze thru hulls & valves have been installed for future onboard generator installation. |
