| Description: |
Maple Leaf 48's have a great reputation for great family cruising or offshore work. They are fast and comfortable! The design carries good beam aft, is very sea-kindly, and has huge interior volume. The cockpit is fully enclosed, heated, and can easily seat 8-10 people. Shirt sleeve sailing in January is a reality. All lines are lead to the cockpit so there is no need to go on deck during foul weather.
She has been extensively cruised in the Pacific Northwest, to Alaska and back. In the Summer of 2012 she cruised to Princess Louisa Inlet. This is a great Pacific Northwest cruiser!
She has a large aft cabin with a custom queen mattress to port, a large curved seating area and ensuite head with shower. Lots of good useable storage and well lit. The aft cabin is entered via a pass thru from the main cabin or to the aft cockpit.
A pilot berth opposite the engine room can be used for sleeping or storage, there are also 9 large drawers for storage in this area. The forward cabin has four large births with a head and shower forward.
The main salon is very large and comfortable. The galley is "U" shaped, with ample storage. She has a large nav station and a lovely built-in wine/liquor cabinet. |
