Description: |
The Alerion Sailing experience is all about pure sailing pleasure - what we refer to as Alerion Sailing - the thrill of a fast, responsive yacht that looks terrific, handles like a dream and doesn't require a large or experienced crew. Whether daysailing or cruising, Alerion Sailing means sailing on your terms and at times that best suit your mood, your schedule, and the weather.
Alerion Express 38, while still faithful to the concept that single-handing is an important capability, offers considerably more interior space and larger cockpit than her smaller sisters.
Her traditional topsides are coupled with not only an advanced underbody but also an advanced rig. A fully roached mainsail on a carbon fiber mast is efficient and effective; single-line reefing lets you adjust on the fly when the wind pipes up. And the self-tacking jib boom allows efficient use of the jib on all points of sail.
Her gracefully contoured cockpit comfortably seats as many as eight or lets you stretch out with a book or to snooze. You’ll reign supreme in the separate rear cockpit where electric winches and complete control are right at hand.
Down below, the full head and galley provides everything you need for a weekend cruise. The balanced use of teak, holly and traditional paneling brings the same relaxed feel of the cockpit into the cabin.
The AE 38 uniquely fuses beauty, speed and that special desire to sail on your own terms |
