| Description: |
La Maga is an excellent example of the renowned German Frers designed 33. She was US built by Carroll Marine in Rhode Island. She is truly a racer/cruiser in that she can and does win races often and yet has the space and rigidity to be a very comfortable cruiser. Jack Horner NA in his review of her had this to say "German Frers designs nearly always show ideal proportions for contemporary yacht design and the 33 is no exception. The sheer is strong enough that it does not appear flat or hogged as the boat heels...The rake of the bow and stern are nicely balanced, and the look of the Frers' trademark transom is very handsome". |
