Description: Her name is DEPARTURE and she hails from Cape Elizabeth, Maine. UPDATE-SALE PENDING AS OF 5/01/21013. This boat is in outstanding condition. She has been continuously upgraded over the past 10 years since she has been in Maine. Her prior location was in the Great Lakes. This boat is professionally maintained every Spring and Fall by the technical team at Yankee Marina in Yarmouth, Maine. She has always been winter stored in their heated buildings, and all work has been done professionally. Hinterhoeller Yachts built only 80 Nonsuch 33's.....Departure is Hull #63. She is one of the best original Nonsuch 33's in existence. She won the "Best Boat" award at the Nonsuch Rendezvous in Boston recently. DEPARTURE is being sold by her owner fully equipped and ready to sail anywhere...Now! We purchased Departure in the Fall of 2007 from a member of our family who was responsible for bringing the boat to Maine, and meticulously guiding all of her upgrades. His health required him to find another owner, and we have faithfully maintained and further upgraded Departure with the help of Yankee Marina. But now it is time for us to look for her next owner........we love her and so will you! Serious buyers will need to see her at Yankee Marina to appreciate all the upgrades and condition of DEPARTURE

Equipment: Departure is equipped with a new sail in 2009, a 3.5kw Next-Gen AC Generator, ProSine Inverter, new deep cell batteries in 2009, wired for both AC and DC refrigeration, 4 burner propane stove and oven, and microwave. The cabin temperature is controlled with an AC powered heating and a/c system as well as a catalytic propane heater. She also has a stereo CD/DVD player, flat screen HDTV, original artwork, and all new cabin cushions. At the helm: a Raymarine chartplotter, auto-helm, anemometer, and a full compliment of blue water sailing instruments and gear. The head and holding tank are new. The Avon dinghy and Mercury 5 hp engine are included. All systems and rigging lines are in perfect condition since the boat has been only lightly used for daysailing throughout Casco Bay in the Summer months. Further Specification Details: The interior design consists of a forward enclosed Captain's Cabin with a double berth to port that is 49" wide and 6'9" long, a clothes locker, and storage lockers beneath the berth. The Main Salon area features a large C-shaped dining area with a table that can be lowered to accomodate another 6'6" berth. On the starboard side is a sitting area and a full navigation table. Also on the starboard side is another double quarter berth that is 50" wide and 6'6" long. The C-shaped Galley is located to port. The Seafrost refrigerator is powered by both the diesel engine and the ac generator, and the double ss sink has hot water from the diesel engine heat exchanger as well as from the ac powered hot water tank. The Navigation area includes a chart plotter,VHF radio, automated fog announciator, and chart table. The Head area is accessable from both the forward cabin and the main cabin. At the helm is another VHS radio, Raymarine chartplotter, auto-helm, compass, depth gage, and wind speed and direction gages.
