Description: 1979 westsail 32. Out of all Westsail 32 made, this may be one of the best.
It's a factory boat, with a all lead keel (most were half steel and had little bilge room).

There are 2 hatches, one of them is a beautiful butterfly hatch. This allows amazing ventilation to flow through the boat.

The boat also has 10 bronze opening portholes. Unlike most boats, these open and let side cross ventilation too.

There is plenty of sleeping room. There is a large V berth that has a twin and a double on each side. It combines to make a queen size berth. The settee also makes into a large double and this boat includes a quarter berth (a rare option).

The galley table seats 4, and there is a settee that sits another few. Also a separate chart table seat.

The interior is all teak and is beautiful. There are 10 matching fme lights which I converted to energy effecient led (expensive).

This is a clean boat, no issues, amazing looking and was barely used, but constantly upgraded as needed.

The outside teak is not varnished. I like the raw varnish look. Lots of owners slap varnish on to increase curb appeal. I don't think I'll do that. For some one who wants to cruise, there are funner things to do than varnish.

-----why you should choose my westsail-----

1. butterfly hatch- adds lots of light and ventilation. Plus looks amazing!
2. additional cockpit lazerette, 3.tabernacled mast,
4. best hull/deck mount
5 rare turtle hatch,
6. All lead keel. Adds so much bilge room. Lots of the other ones have almost zero bilge space and quickly will fill.
7. No teak decks
8. Factory finished boat
9. Rare quarter berth aft (lots of extra room)
10.sitting room chart table
11. Was never neglected.
12. Turtle hatch-protects the hatch and makes it much lighter.
13. Mainsheet traveler is located over turtle hatch. Much better!
14. has amazing overbuilt stanchions.
15.-----Beautiful!!!! This is the boat you want!!!

Equipment: 1. Volvo md17c engine. Runs like a champ.
2. Ground tackle- 45# cqr, fortress fx23--- Chain and rode.
3.cold plate refredgeration.
4. 2 Expensive Kyocera 140wt solar panels.
5. Sails-new in 2007 kern sail mainsail and staysail. Also comes with 4 additional sails.
6. New water tanks
7. New Raritan phc compact head. Not a cheap jabsco one. This one works well!
8. Aries windvane.

----boat works great. I take it sailing and anchor it almost every weekend. Wife says she just doesn't want to cruise and doesn't want to sail.
