Description: The Pearson Flyer is one of the best kept secrets afloat offered at a more than reasonable price. She’s fast, comfort, safe and great for entertaining being spacious below with an 11’ beam and 5’8” of standing room. The Flyer is a 30 footer with lots of space below and easy to move around. Entertaining friends and family is a delight. The cabin features beautiful warm wood paneling, holley / teak sole and a full enclosed head. Forward is an easily accessed storage area for sails, gear and a full sea berth. This model will accommodate a crew of 5 with large berths that measure over 6 feet. The topsides feature a spacious well contoured cockpit with wide uncluttered decks making it easy for sail handling or stretching out on a warm summer day.
The Flyer was made with a goal to keep it simple and to sail fast; this one does! The 11 foot beam gives her a waterline that allows 7 knots in very little wind. She comes with a 135%, 150% and 95% roller furling headsail all in very good to excellent condition. The high aspect ratio, factional sail plan is ideal for the winds of Long Island Sound. The flyer is like a J24 on steroids without the danger of having a boom that sweeps the cockpit!
