The Manta 40 was elected "Boat of the Year 2001" all categories by the Cruising World magazine.
This is a cruising cat for serious long term cruisers and rigged for single handing.
This boat is a 1998 model; US built. She is registered in Canada.
She is Solar self-sufficient. Loaded with offshore gear, she has along with a B&G network, a SSB HF radio with Pactor III modem and a Sat phone with data interface.
She got a new mast, boom & vang in 2007, plus New Doyle self-tacking jib & main in 2005.
