| Description: |
“Freeflight” is a Freedom 39 Pilothouse Cat Schooner that features a Ron Holland hull for superior performance. It is designed to be sailed short handed and full length battens make the sails easy to manage. The masts are carbon fiber and the traditional booms are aluminum. All sail controls are lead aft through stoppers to self tailing winches so you can hoist, reef and douse sails without leaving the cockpit. She was rebuilt in 2000 after being damaged in a fire and has cruised the Florida coast ever since. She is in good sailing condition, rebuilt transmission and new bottom paint in 2006. Rebuilt engine in 2007. New sail covers and bimini in 2009. She needs Awlgrip paint in a few areas on the topsides and some interior woodwork. |
