A stainless steel hydraulic lift ram allows for ease in lifting the lead keel. The swivel rudder pod allows for lifting the rudder out for beaching the boat. The Hunter 216 is constructed with Hunter's patented Advanced Composite Process. ACP combines thermoformed UV protected plastic, fiberglass mat and injected foam. The result is a tough unsinkable hull.
