The bottom is clear of blisters and it has conventionally anti- fouled. The owner bought it few years ago. New engine in 2002 with only 95 h.
The boat is to sale because the owner is died.
Construction
White fiberglass hull (awlgripped ’96), green hull strips, non-skid fiberglass deck, stainless steel pulpit, stainless steel stern rail, double lifelines with gates, Edson wheel steering. Standard production Irwin 38 round bottom, wing keel hull configuration, standard cabin and deck layout with aft cabin under cockpit area. All ports were rebedded in ’06.
Accomodations
Two cabin version with a total of seven berths – V-berth forward, double cabin aft, U-shaped dinette to port, galley aft of dinette with centerline sinks. Pressure water, shower and propane stove with oven.
The interior was refurbished in ’06 with new teak & holly sole. All teak has been replaced or refinished. New hot water tank & cushions. New bulkhead.
Engine & Electrical
2002 Yanmar 27hp dsl engine (3GM30-93), three blade feathering Vari prop (2002). Electrical system is maintained by two batteries (new ’06), 110-volt system, shore power cord, battery charger, two electric bilge pumps (new ’06) and manual bilge pump. New wiring cabinet (’06). LED trilight (’06); anchor light (’06).
Electronics
VHF (’06), GPS Plotter (’06); Silva compass and Autohelm Tridata log/speed/depth.
Sails & Rigging
Aluminum mast & boom (mast repainted & rewired 06); Barient winches; halyards; mainsheet traveler; sheets; Harken furling.
Sails included are Mainsail North (2000), 150% North (2000) and Harken Genoa Furling.
Additional
30 lb anchor, chain with 150’ anchor rode, current flares, horn, cockpit cushions (‘00), life ring, fire extinguisher, docklines; fenders; stereo w/speakers (’06). Survey conducted in July 2003 available. |
