| Description: |
The Thistle is a high performance one design racing sailboat that is generally sailed with a three person crew. This boat has been restored to like-new condition from a rather beat-up mid-70's boat. Hull # 2328. She is fiberglass. The wooden rails have been rebuilt and varnished, cockpit repainted, new hardware installed, new running rigging, trailer adjusted to fit the boat better and launch easier, hubs greased, new lights, all the wood has been refinished and looks gorgeous. She has a 3 batten (full leech) mainsail, jib, and spinnaker (no pole, but I have pole ends to make one). Two rudders (one kick-up, one fixed), two centerboards. Full set of poster-sized plans. Sails are in workable condition for day sailing (you wouldn't want to race with them). Full canvas cover for either mast-up or mast down storage/trailering. Break-up forces sale. Asking $2500.00 obo. 727-417-6367 Ask for Richard. |
