| Description: |
1982 O’Day, with a diesel inboard engine, pedestal wheel steering, Harken Roller Furling, Garmin GPS/chartplotter, 2 sets of sails, enclosed head, etc.
Overall, the rigging and hull are in good shape. I replaced the rudder about 4 years ago, and the roller furling around 8 years ago. I also replaced the circuit panel and had the boat re-wired. The head was replaced about 6 years ago.
The layout is typical for this boat:
V Berth
Enclosed head
Main salon, with settees (double to port, single to starboard) on either side, and a ¼ berth aft to starboard. There is a small nav station between the starboard settee and the ¼ berth.
To port, there is a small galley area, with a very deep cooler, and a small 2 burner desktop propane stove. There is a sink there as well, that shares pressure water (cold) with the head. The fawcett in the head is portable and doubles as a cold water shower – perfect for the fresh water rinse after a swim. |
