This Fisher 37 aftcabin is a unique boat. Its orignal owner finished the boat himself improving on Fishers orginal design. The 2 major differences are the pilothouse has 2 entrances instead of the 1 in a well. 1 entrance on the aft of the pilothouse and 1 on the port side. Aft cabin has large double berth and ample storage, forward v-berth is large w/6 1/2 foot berths. Also the tankage has been doubled. The fuel is 250 gals, and the water is 200 gals. This boat is in excellent condition needing very little to make her pristine. She has a large easy excess engine compartment. The Fisher has the reputation of being the Rolls Royce of motorsailers. |

The engine is a Ford Parsons 80hp 4 cyl. It has an electric oil change pump for easy oil changes. This engine has been well maintained with records. 2 electric 12V and 1 manuel bilge pumps. 6 new(Nov 2008) AGM batteries, 2 8D and 4 group 27 with Quad-cycle battery moniter system.2 solar panels with controller. 105 amp alternator w 2 spare alternators. The Tanbark sails were new in 2000 and are in excellent condition. Profurl roller furling and has a 150 cruising spinnaker in a sock. The main cabin has a double leaf table made of Cristobal wood, a woodburning raletco stove, 17" LCD TV w/vcr and dvd players, a 4 speaker stereo system. The galley has a force 10 2 burner propane stove/oven, fresh and salt water S/S sink and microwave. Magma barbaque located outside aft .2 heads 1 aft (converted to storage) and 1 midships W/shower and on demand hot water. In the pilot house there in 24 mile Rayethon radar, Garmin GPS (3) # 45 #162 #472. Kenyen wind and speed indicator, Focus speed/sounder, Comnav autopilot, and full guages. Insde and outside steering stations. The aft cockpit located on the aft cabin is made for easy sail handling. Dingy davits w/ 9 1/2 foot hard botton AB w/ a 8hp Nissan and a 2hp Honda. The ground tackel consist of 5 Anchors, 2 40lb CQR, 1 40lb Bruce, 1 35lb Delta and 1 Fortress #FX-37 W/a simpson Lawerence 555 windless, 220' 5/16" G4 chain and 100' 1" rode on main anchor. Lots of spare anchor chain and rode. Several storm chutes on board. All owners manuels and parts books on board. This boat needs no equipment for extensive crusing and can be purchased with extras like diving equipment, 2 sea kayaks, 2 portable Honda generators, Honda gas powered emergency waterpump and much more. This boat has thousands on dollars worth of spares on board. She is ready to go anywhere in the world.Currently located in Panama east side and waiting out hurricane season.
