The Hunter 26/260 is probably the most successful maximum day sailor ever built. She is as efficient sailing on the water as she is towing behind your vehicle. At 3000 lbs on the road she doesn't tank a tank to pull her, and 5000 lbs in the water when you add the water ballast means she is no light weight blown over by the first puff of wind. The enclosed head allow for true weekending or a week aboard for vacation. The mast is easily stepped with Hunter's design for mast raising. So all in all this boat is about the best go anywhere sailor you can find. Note she has a larger engine the standard 9.9 that the boats typically came with. This one features a 15HP Nissan
