smaller (& most affordable) of the popular Catana range of performance cruising catamarans.
She meets the French Category 1 requirements for offshore yachts. (Water tight Bulkheads Fore & Aft).
The Catana 381 has twin dagger-boards for upwind efficiency, high Bridge-deck clearance, narrow hulls,
closed slot & a power to weight ratio (Bruce #) of 1.29. Asymmetrical ‘V’ shaped bows help to prevent
Hobby horsing, which they do.
Her cockpit features an elevated helm station aft and a Lookout seat under the Bimini for dry helming
when wet. Transom steps provide easy water access & dinghy launching via the transom arch that has 2 of the 4 x 130w Solar panels mounted on top. There is also a new 12v high output & quite 'Silent-wind' generator.
Inside the Saloon you will find an efficient galley, a navigation station and 6 person Cream curved
seating around the double leg oval table with Pilot-house panoramic views. Nav station to Starboard.
Below the hulls are laid out in the 3 double berth style, owners berth & dressing room Port with 2 doubles. 6 persons
