The Ranger 29 is a Gary Mull designed as a fast racer/cruiser designed for inland lakes and near shore sailing. Her hull is one-piece hand laid fiberglass lamination. The 29 has a self bailing cockpit, long seats that could be serve as additional berths in good weather or just to get out and sleeping under the stars. Her auxiliary power is the classic Atomic 4. She has berths for 5 and good head room below, and also offers and enclosed head. You have an opportunity to put in your finishing touches to meet your specs and she will be ready race and cruise to your delight. The Ranger 29’s rig is well balanced, with a moderate-displacement hull and high ballast–to-displacement ratio to achieve the famous Gary Mull handling characteristics: A very fast boat that sails on her bottom. |
