My 1978 C & C 38 is now up for sale. I have owned this boat for 5 years and have done extensive refit and repair to her. She is both sloop and cutter rigged as the inner forestay can easily be removed and stored. The hull has a fin keel and spade rudder. Last bottom job was November 2010 and could have gone another year w/out as bottom was perfect. Boat equipment is too numerous to mention but here are the basics. |

HEAD: New in 2010 Jabsco manual marine head and plumbing - 15 Gal holding tank - shower & sink - two enclosed storage shelves - solar vent & port
ENGINE: Yanmar 4JH - 2E 50 HP with 875 HRS new cables & new type B panel with new wire harness. Also added new eng. temp/oil press/ Amp gauge. 20 Gal fuel tank.
SAFETY GEAR: 406 EPIRB - MOB POLE W/ XENON STROBE LIGHT - VIKING 4 MAN LIFE RAFT - SSB RADIO - life jackets & horseshoe throw buoy - std. flairs w/lots of extras of all type - two whale gusher manual bildge pumps, one above & one below.
ON DECK: Harken roller furling- twin anchors w/Simpson Lawrence Sea Tiger double action windlass - 10 BARIENT winches- Hydraulic backstay- solid rod rigging-topping lift-cockpit flood light & foredeck light-5 fire extinguishers plus HALON AUTO for engine-two solar vents-Sunbrella dodger/bimini & cockpit cushions.
