This boat named “Pronto” has been exceptionally well kept and upgraded by it’s owners. In the spring of 2012, Pronto had a major refit which included new standing rigging, new electronics (Speed, depth, wind and chart plotter) and replacement of all through hulls and valves with bronze.
Pronto is fully appointed as a cruiser with a propane stove, icebox, and plenty of storage. She also has a propane Force 10 heater in addition to a Cruisair carry on air conditioner. There are accommodations for 5 in the forward V-Berth, Quarter Berth and two settees.
On deck, there is a new bimini (2011) and recovered dodger 2010 with a connector piece to provide plenty of shade while sailing, or at the dock or anchor. Pronto has been upgraded with 2 speed self tailing primary winches and has all running rigging lead aft to the cockpit for sailing ease. Garhauer jib car leads provide excellent sail control for upwind and downwind sailing.
Pronto has an extensive sail inventory and is a proven race winner in local club racing. The Ullman main and genoa are less than 3 years old. Pronto is rigged for both symmetrical and asymmetrical spinnakers and has a spinnaker pole as well as an extending whisker pole. Pronto comes equipped with three symmetrical spinnakers, an asymmetrical spinnaker and a light air genoa in addition to her still serviceable original sails.
Pronto’s current owner will be sad to see her go to a new owner, and is only selling due to purchasing a larger sailboat. Don’t wait to make arrangements to view this outstanding “Pocket Cruiser” on Kerr Lake as she will undoubtedly attract a lot of attention. |
