2001 Catalina 310. This boat has been well taken care of and has many upgrades. The Standard 310 is an "upgrade" itself for 30' cruising Sloops. It's standing
rigging is built more like a 36 footer with double spreaders and double shrouds and huge chain plates. On top of the standard 310 equipment this boat has a
Flex-O-Fold 11X15 folding prop. Will cruise at about 6 knots with the engine only running at about 1800 rpms. Much better thrust than the standard 10X15
fixed pitch prop and no rudder turbulence under sail, as is always the case with a fixed prop locked in reverse. Much smoother and about ½ to 1 knot faster.
The boat is equipped with a Raytheon C80 chart plotter, radar, auto helm, integrated course computer and fluxgate compass with MARPA. Redundant speed
and depth, at navstation and in cockpit. In the cabin the electrical system has (2) new 4D house batteries and a separate new engine battery. Spare gas bottle
included with the propane stove. The house batteries are wired in parallel and will run the refrigerator for a weekend. For sails the boat has the standard full
batten main with Dutch Man flaking and a 2 year old new head sail. We also added a second reefing point and line to the main so you can reach and haul up
to about 30 knots. Full batten mains can be tightly trimmed unlike in-mast or boom furled mains. We had the new head sail cut with a slightly higher foot so it
is easier to see under when it is fully unfurled. All upholstery and cabin components are in near new condition and all perfectly functional. You will not find a better example of this already well respected and sea worthy vessel. This is a well rigged and balanced boat and can over speed with only 18 to 20 knots of breeze to windward or in a reach. This
is a great coastal cruising
