40' Pearson 40

Description: Pearson 40 ‘Fortuna’
We embarked upon the sailing lifestyle a few months ago and have decided it is not for us. Fortuna has comfortably slept out family of 5.
This Pearson 40 is a spacious cruising yacht with superb speed, well balanced on all points of sail with excellent offshore capability and a kindly sea motion. She has a centerboard design with a minimum draft of 4’3” which is exceptional in a 40-foot cruiser for shallow water gunk holing such as Chesapeake Bay and the Bahamas. ‘Fortuna’ is a prime example of the Pearson 40 strength, stability, and balance. She is set-up for short-handed sailing making her easier to sail.
